She devoted all her life conveying the voice of God from the day she first started singing. She is a faithful believer and she openly expressed that she talks to God all the time. I am not a believer but I do think God gave her the talent to move people

Shs has two weeks to prepare for this performance and basically a week for people to gather and practice. What's even more amazing is that immortal songs band crew only rehearse once (a day before actual show). IMS2 band crew are extremely professional, they get to perform this by only rehearsing once by singer's request although back up singers and orchestra would have practiced several times with Sohyang.

Much Respect to this woman. She is pure and strong. She was diagnosed with cancer when she was 20, which made her infertile but she is always thankful for her Life and her marriage. She dedicated her life to singing about god, and she turned down many contracts from famous producers. She sings with all her soul, that's what makes her music sounds like heaven. I really enjoy your reaction and analysis about So Hyang.,You have an intriguing style of talking. Thanks a lot for your videos :-D

yeah! the Queen... She bought it to the next level in 2018 with this performance, you'd be surprise to know she's so sick (pneumonia ) that her Doctor said to her "Don't even talk" and rest few days, just a few hours ago this performance..... Still So Hyang did an amazing job beyond any words can explain... She always sing for the God and to heal/comfort people, not for fame and money like others... and I really appreciate that you speak your mind unlike other reactor who's acting for their viewers............

Dulanjala007 she is just amazing. Did you know that the reason singer flop badly in their singing sometime is because of illness? I don't know how she did it but she sang so well.

THE VOCAL LEXICON you may not know that SoHyang is a cancer survivor (in her 20's), common thing with those people is their compromised immune system, so you're really vulnerable to even the most common disease. in SoHyang's case, she's been battling with pneumonia always in her life... but she has improved so much over the years (2011-), just think about how much consistent practicing she must have put in to get that result. which is the hardest thing for any human being, being consistent... but here she did the most technically outstanding performance in her life (as I see), not a single second we can just ignore, even second filled with music deliciousness... I would normally feel somewhat uneasy to hear active preaching in a music reaction video but it comes across naturally and logically after listening to Sohyang's You Raise Me Up. This is Sohyang's masterpiece in 2018 describing her personal journey with the Creator. Actually Sohyang started out as a gospel singer more than 20 years ago and never left as a devout Christian. She expanded her music to go out side of church to touch more people with her gift. Agree with you that the best way to enjoy the music is to listen to it without interruption and to catch the message but really thankful for your insight on the technical aspect of the music so that we can better appreciate the effort made to create beautiful music.

Sohyang actually was suffering from Pneumonia during this performance, her doctor told her a few hours before not to even speak! However, she still managed to perform such a beautiful rendition of this song!

She was diagnosed with Pnuemonia that day, and her doctor even recommended her not to speak any word, but there she is, wonderful, like she has no sickness at all.

Yes, it's a gospel song and 'cause she is a devout Christian and CCM singer, it is natural that we feel religious mood from her performances. She's one of the role models for many Christians including me, for she shows through her behavior how to live as a sincere Christian, not just says through her mouth. Thanks for mentioning Jesus Christ, 'cause I think what she ultimately wishes is for more people to know Him and His love for them. God bless you!

She, Dimash and Lisa Gerard are my favorits singers with these type of voice. Maybe are more but I dont remember them now. If you don't hear before Lisa you need do now. I told you I foget someone, Zyrah Rose and Celtic Woman are so good too

Frank - thank you very much for your great reaction. I watch many reaction video´s but I prefer your reactions, because you have the knowledge about the vocal technique . Most of the people wich make reaction video´s even behave like fools, sometimes even respectless, if a foreign singer like dimash doesn´t have a good english pronunciation and than I always ask them , if they know any other language ? Most of them doesn´t even understand if Dimash is singing in russian, italian, french oder chinese. I´m glad there is a reaction channel like yours - thanks a lot from Austria !

As a kid she found her voice singing along with Mariah Carey (she's a big fan) also found the LORD at that time so she joined a CCM/Gospel band soon she married the drummer (over 20 years now) singing in that sphere, honing her skills for years before entering the more popular world entertainment. She is cautious and skeptical and is more at home in a church concert. Like you I think she deserves the fame. After all " The laborer deserve his wage".

If I’m not mistaken, SO HYANG was diagnosed with cancer…after surviving the ordeal she saw her second chance at life as a gift from God and dedicated her voice/life to brining joy to others…she is a gospel singer who grew up singing in church and she rejected international fame choosing instead to sing only for Jesus and to raise money for charity. This is why I believe we feel so much from her singing...its from above and real.
