I am the honest vocal coach! I have been teaching for 16 years and been singing since I was 17. I teach from my own studio and via Skype. I specialise in teaching children, and teenagers pop and musical theatre but I am trained in all genres of music. I have studied every voice technique there is, including Speech Level Singing, Estill, Bel Canto, Robert Lunte, London College of Music, ABRSM, Ria Keen, Kim Chandler, Stevie Van Lange and many more. I have been around!
In 2008 I wrote the Vocaltutor Guide, 21 set lessons for singing teachers to get started, learning to teach, and produced 3 vocal exercise CD/Downloads.

Thanks a lot for all your positive and kind words about our Mamas! I´m so sad right now, that they won´t get the chance to perform in Rotterdam. Their voices are so great, the song is so catchy and uplifting, I think it would´ve been amazing in the arena. They´re so likeable and charismatic, they put a smile on your face and makes you dance and sing along. Just as you say, something we all need right now, some mamas to comfort us all.

I agree absolutely to your comments. But such a pity there was no Eurovision that year. Think they would have hit top five at least. One of my top performencies the last years. Love them, really 🥰

Hadn't heard this song yet, but way to go Sweden! My first thought was "ok, this is kind of cliche", but my next thought was - like you said - that's kind of what we need right now. Not just bco the virus, but the whole world. There's a lot of sh** going on. And we need three power women from Sweden. Several goosebump moments from me. Really talented women!

Many people seems to think that being honest is the same as being mean, specially from someone like a coach/mentor. That is not the case. You are doing exactly what is expeccted from your profession. Actually, the Swedish vote was for "Dotter". The international jury then made these the winners.

Johan Isaksson, no it was the other way around. They were tied after the international votes, but with Dotter having more twelves. Than the popular vote gave Dotter one point less.

Fantastic singers..but the song is a string of very tired, over used cliches....Sweden usually has stronger song writing than this.
