Geoff Castelluci is the bass singer. That was a subharmonic E1 at the end. He can go lower. He just released a solo cover of 'The Headless Horseman' you'd probably really like as well. Voiceplay did a cover a while back of 'Grim Grinning Ghosts' which is also really good. Their non-Halloween music is just as good. A couple other amazing acappella groups are Home Free and Pentatonix. Home Free has an incredible beat boxer. 'Man of Constant Sorrow' is one I'd suggest of theirs.

Its funny that you talk about the man portraying Santa Claus. He's not actually a performer; rather, I've heard he was a neighbor and friend of Geoff Castellucci who just happened to be able to do a perfect imitation of the Santa Claus part from the original film, so when they needed a Santa Claus, they asked him to do it and he agreed.

My wife said Geoff covered 4 octaves in that finale... she has perfect pitch so I believe her. Her piano does not actually go low enough on that last note to confirm. I think it would be chalked up as an E1...my ear is not as good as hers as far as note identification even if I am very attuned (pun intended) to vocals in general.

Yaaaaassss! I am so happy you reacted to this! I was expecting it for so long! I was right that you would love it! Thank you Sam!🌷 I think the bass line Geoff does through the whole song. J (baritone) can go quite low as well. Erl that does the nasal high pitch thingy is the high tenor. His voice is like a laser beam! Props for catching that little bass drop doo doo doom most people seem to miss it! I can do the nasally thing. It is easy for me but I think is a biological thing. How I am built. So no credit for learning it 😛. Plus outside of any character based thing it is just annoying 🤣 Yay I can do the annoying sounds at least!🤣🤣🤣🤣 That was a great start! Can't wait for the next !

4:33 . Personally the way I would describe a subharmonic is by playing 2 notes at 1 time a vocal fry with a higher note attached to it . Or like applying a force to a vocal fry to try and project it out of your mouth harder . And personally it dosent low me to go an octave lower but that's not a bad thing because now I can do it in a higher register I can make it sound more like computer generated and techno instead
