The thing that first fascinated me about kpop is their ability to dance and sing live at the same time. What I've discovered over time is that it's quite difficult to do both even for kpop artists trained to do so. So, in their live performances, it's customary to have a loud backtrack, and to not sing 100% of the lines live, which is based on largely on what the choreo is during that particular line, and also of course artist preference. Blackpink is known for singing live more than the average group, but these rules apply to everyone in Kpop. Music show performances are entirely dance-based, so skip those if you want live vocals. Except some encore stages for trophy winners... but they don't actually dance the choreo in those. Award show performances are also hit or miss. Really it's concert clips that you want! Coachella ones are good, but it depends which songs you pick. Sometimes the choreos are very lowkey to give them a bit of a break between the tough ones, and that means the vocals will be more live, but it might not be what you're looking for in terms of seeing exactly how they balance it. Also, some of their songs are super rap-heavy, so if you're looking for more vocal-heavy songs, try As If It's Your Last from Coachella 2019, Lovesick Girls or Tally from 2023 Coachella, and Kill This Love from either year!

You said it was surprising that they could all dance. Most kpop groups are under a Company. Before they debut they trained months to years long. They learn dancing, singing, rapping by trainers. Not all trainees debut though. Stray Kids are really good at live singing. As well as Ateez and NMIXX. Idk what music you like but you should check out NCT U 90s Love or Stray Kids Lalalala 😌😀
