i’m french and her accent might be not perfect yet we can understand really well every word she sings and french is a complicated language for non-latin speaker so to be honest i’m pretty amazed and impressed by her accent

I have watched reactions to Diana by three different vocal coaches (one of them is also an opera singer), all of whom made reference to her contralto voice. One was so surprised that somebody only 15 years old could be a 'true contralto' that she kept stopping and re-playing segments to 'check again' just what she was hearing. Personally, I *love* that deep voice; but also that she can still go relatively high, too! *And* that she does that cool chanting/yodeling thing of hers, too!

Diana is a Contralto , I saw a interview with her and she said so herself . At the time I didn't know what a Contralto was so I immediately researched it . If anyone would know it would be her she's been seeing singing coaches since she was 5 and works with the best of the best like Igor Krutoy . Just can't remember which interview unfortunately

Good sir, from what I can find, Diana was found to have a range from B3 to G6, so 2 octaves and 5 notes. However, I've also read she's lost a couple of notes on the top of her top range (maybe due to puberty?) but I haven't heard anything about losing bottom notes. Just thought I'd share. Thanks for taking the time to read!

The contralto singing voice has a vocal range that lies between the F below "middle C" (F3) to two Fs above middle C (F5). It's that simple Yazik. She goes well below that in Wicked Game.

I've heard from several professionally trained opera singers that her French is superb. Some of the vowels in French can pose some difficulty if it's not your native language. Great reaction video. P.S. You're adorable :-)

Yes, she does have a a good french. The only real thing not accurate comes with some words that ends with a 'e' because she usually pronounced a 'é' instead (like a 'ay' in english), like italians do sometimes. It's only something minor however.

@@deepdarkmidnight That's not how these categories work. They work on average range which is labeled the comfort zone. A person with a 4+ octave range can sing under at least two labeled types, but it's the three preferred octaves which dictate their labeled category.

Классная заставка, Язык) Оch, miałem na myśli Język)) Oops, i mean Язик! W pierwszym kuple "Wicked Game" Diana notuje niskie noty. Lub w "Rechenka" spada bardzo nisko. Chodzi o contralto. Ale nie jestem piosenkarzem, nie jestem specjalistą i wierzę w piosenkarzy i specjalistów, więc, jak mówisz, tak będzie. Chciałbym zobaczyć reakcję na Diana Ankudinova - „Oh, Darling”. (miała zaledwie dziesięć lat) A także reakcja na białoruskiego piosenkarza Maxa Korzha i jego piosenkę "Endorfin". W końcu nikt jeszcze nie śpiewał o hormonach peptydowych))

In an interview, Diana said that her lowesr note is E under first octave. Whatever that is.

Even altos go lower :) I still think she is a dramatic mezzo soprano or an alto :) her tembr is really deep but the notes aren't :) Anyway, who cares? She sings beautifully :)

Her french accent is pretty good in most of the songs i've heard(Je ne regrette rien, dernière danse, etc.). The only song with some french bad accent is La vague. You should listen it because that is probably one of the best intimate languorous song. Her interpretation (half french and half russian) is incredible and the mix of the two langages is pretty good too. You should also listen 'me voy' a spanish flamenco intimate song really well interpreted as always. Dernière danse with Adam Ferello production is pretty special too.

Some people mentioned already, but its worth repeating... there are some reaction videos by professional opera singers that have called her a true contralto. Also, one of them mentioned that her French was very very good. She said that level of singing, some altering of pronunciation might be necessary because of trying to pronounce nasal vowels while singing.

Диана контр-альто по рождению (оччень редко бывает). У неё в 16 лет уже 2две октавы. Думаю к 18лет она сделает 3три октавы. Песец не то слово - виват Диана.

There were few reactions from french youtubers who said her french pronouncing was pretty decent. As to contralto, I agree with you, thats not her natural range of voice, although she manages to go down there pretty impressively with her tongue technique. She kinda reminds me of Yma Sumac, who had that heavenly high range which felt very natural for her, but she managed to go very deep sometimes, probably few tones lower than Diana.
