The music genre of this song called Dangdut, with sub-genre Koplo. It used to be marginal people's favorite, but now become national genre. Dangdut itself is a mix from Hindi, Malay and Arab music. Sub-genre Koplo is mix of pop song which rearranged into dangdut beat but the fast beat. The first time Koplo known by the people is kind of mix of house music and dangdut rythm. In dangdut world, the main character is the band. The band usually use title OM (O-eM) which means Orkes Melayu or Malayan Orchestra. If you ask why, it's a long story to tell 😄. So an OM will do a long exclusive contract to some singers. Although the singers usually become famous, but the band still has it rights to gain some income from the singer.
