that goes for anyone he covers. he doesn't want to "copy" or "outsing" the original artists because they're the reason why he is a singer today. he honestly hates being compared to certain singers because he doesn't want to be put on the same level when they're the inspiration behind him. he's always so respectful and humble to every artist.

Honestly as a BIG big fan... like I'm not sure if there is a concert.... or live performance I haven't seen of his... but I completely get what you are saying. This performance is one of my least favorite of his. I understand where you are coming from. I still enjoy the end as you do but he is not Celine Dion. I saw Titanic in theaters with my parents and I remember the song playing and Dimash didn't give me the same feeling. There is a reason why people consider her one of the best vocalists of our generation. I really got the feels from her performance but to be fair, the thing I will always appreciate about Dimash is his musicality. He really understands dynamics. When to be quiet, when to get loud, how much to emphasize a note... he's truly a virtuoso. I've played guitar for over 20 years and I could never stop appreciating his overall musicianship. That's what I enjoyed the most. The way he changed the end to put his mark on the song and that moment at 12:17. The twirl gives me goosebumps every time because it's on beat lol.

Maybe by this time you should listen to some of his Chinese or his Kazakh songs, because you will not know the original and will not be distracted by his pronunciation. Autumn Strong from I am a singer 2017, Daybreak from his Bastau concert ( this is based on a true story that you should research to enjoy it to the fullest).From his Kazakh songs I can recommend Unforgettable Day ( I am a singer 2017), Daididau ( Bastau), or Qairan Elim.

@@garythielen5314 Yes agree. I think taking on such iconic songs as Hello and My Heart Will Go On is a huge risk for anyone, except Dimash ☺️. He never fails to deliver and he should never be compared to anyone else. He is unique. I have every faith that she will see this, the further down the “Dimash rabbit hole “ she goes. She already thinks he’s amazing. Warm hugs ♥️

Приветствую вас. Я конечно же поклонник творчества Димаша и проживаю в Казахстане, но не думаю что, Селин Дион в 1997 году когда вышел фильм "Титаник" она исполнила эту композицию также как наверно вы думаете, допустим в 2016 году и т.д. Важно, учитывать и возраст великолепной певицы. Естественно, разницу 1997 года и спустя двадцать лет слышно и это уверен видят в Ютубе и другие люди. Поэтому, считаю что нет необходимости сравнивать версию нашего дорого Димаша и выступление этой же песни в исполнении Селин Дион спустя двадцать лет. Это некорректно. Если я правильно понял ваши комментарии. Если нет, то извиняюсь.

@Altair A За группу Qween" что, вспомнили отдельный respect. Здесь даже и обсуждать ничего не хочется. Легенда, есть легенда. Как и Виктор Цой. Просто, действительно есть люди которых не то что, обсуждать в хорошем смысле, не хочется, но и даже очень трогательно становится на душе когда их слушаешь и смотришь в своих телефонах и т.д. Тем более давно ушедших из жизни..

What you have to understand about Dimash is that he isn’t going to show you everything he’s got from the first few seconds of a song. Each song he takes you on a journey. It would be boring if he or any singer sang full force for the entire song, that’s not dynamic, that doesn’t tug at your emotions. The soft and low is just as important as the belting and high parts. He is a true master of dynamics and interpretation, and the emotional connectedness he displays. Yes , be patient and appreciate all the facets of his voice and not just the climax♥️🙏

Dimash is not about high notes all the time. He puts his heart and soul into every song. He is living in it.... he also NEVER tried to outshine anybody... he has DEEP respect for his fellow artists. And he teaches us, his fans - Dears, to respect the work of every artist. And we do! Love him to bits...

At the time he sung this, he didnt speak english at all, only singing in english. Try one of his kazakh songs to sing along, and you will have a glimpse how hard it can be without having any speaking practice in a language. I really appreciate the effort he takes to sing something in so many languages (he sings in 12 languages), and i was totally blown away as i heard him sing in my language (german). What i learned in terms of Dimash: Just open your heart to the music and the emotions he is conveying, and you dont need any words. Every time Dimash is singing I just want to feel and turn up the volume, that is what makes me happy every day since i know dimash. Greetings from Germany o/

A little bit about Dimash. He has been training, and singing since he was 5. He sings in 12 different languages, plays several instruments, writes and composes music, is humble, loves his fans, and calls them his dears. He will be 27 in May, and is 6' 3" tall.

The reason why you didn’t feel that in the beginning is because to make it different and make it his own, he started in a lower octave and then he went up to another octave. You will not hear a woman’s voice because he’s a man Lol! C’mom, tell me what man vocalist can sing a Celine song like that...I will like to hear Celine singing one of his songs in which he goes deep and all the way up Lol!! It's actually an Eric Carmen song which Celine covered along with many others. Dimash didn't deviate much from the original version on this one. He teaches patience, he tells the audience to sit back and enjoy, savor every note...tysm🤗

Please react to 'Daybreak' at his Bastau concert. Its a song written about a tragic cable car accident in China. A mother and father held their 2 year old baby up so rescuers could grab him before it fell. That little boy was the only survivor because of his mummy and daddy. A singer adopted him and wrote Daybreak. When you watch Dimash sing it, it will braak you heart. I know that you know Dimash is a superstar and you have a lot to watch but this song is something else. It blew me away.

I love your honest reaction. I am glad you are not afraid to criticize a performance on its merit. Dimash has a lot of admiration for Celine Deion and I think he is showing a lot of respect and maybe even some restraint by not trying to overshadow the original. Although, toward the end, Dimash did make the song his own and showed his vocal ability. He never seems to disappoint. Great reaction and analysis. Thank you and God bless both of you.

You can't begin to imagine Dimash's vocal range, the songs you have reacted to has only been the tip of the iceberg. However, there are songs he sings that he's able to transport you to a place of happiness because his voice has arms that can grab and reach your soul. If you are looking for “coping” somebody’s singing - you will not find it with Dimash. He is telling you a story and it is his version of the story. And most of the time it is better than the original. If you listen to this song sung by Dimash at different occasions you’ll see that there is some difference in each one.

I recommend u set any & all your expectations aside when u listen to Dimash, & just let him take u on a journey. He always smashes your expectations anyways.. u can sometimes miss the magic waiting for the “big parts”, bc even his pauses are exquisite.

Asia I understand what your saying....... Almost like he feels the songs not in English more! In a way, i think that he does cause he knows what hes singing about when the songs are not in English! He understands what he's singing about! You see, Dimashes doesn't speak or understand English (except for the usuals; hello\Bye and thank you, etc!). When they choose the English song they're doing, Dimashes composer\arranger and Friend, break down each word phonetically and break it down by syllables and then by saying the word over and over again and quickly learning a basic idea of the meaning of the word, and they continue this over and over Till Dimash sounds comfortable and natural with the word and finaly the sentences that make up the song! Very hard to do and very impressive!

Just because songs are in English doesn't mean you will feel more passion. To me English songs lack a lot of sincerity because of the lack of value to things that can't be bought. Also it's funny how quick the songs that are sung by Dimash are summed up as to the outcome, even though he always surprises us. Thank for your great reaction as always.

Esta canción en particular con Celin Dion es una de mis preferidas y siempre termino llorando. Con Dimash es diferente la emoción, los escalofrios van de las piernas a los brazos y es un verdadero placer escucharlo. No creo que ningún otro hombre pueda cantar esta canción tan bien como Dimash para hacer honor a la version original de Celin

Hi guys. Thanks for the reaction 🤩. IMO this song doesnt present any vocal challenge for Dimash. Its basically simple (vocally) tune in two keys and one modulation up the octave. Its like kindergarden for him. Look at the second verse where he upped the octave (in tenor range that is challenging to most male voices). Dimash sings it up there like it it his lower chest voice 😅

He started out in the lower register, but moves through the song beautifully! I can only think he sings this song as a tribute to Celine Dion who he has said is one of his favorite artists! ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️
