YAY. |D Finally-- ARGGGH. The melody for the chorus and the lyrics to the first half of it have been swimming around in my head for months. I didn't know what to do with them. YAAAAY. 8D First Vocaloid Original! Homg.... :'D
But, ah, hahah... this did come out a lot creepier than I intended. And yeah, I know, I drew his hand backwards in one of the scenes. Ugh.
The song is kinda about someone who lost their respect and love for themselves and became self-abusive. And for that one scene, uhh, I don't really know who the lady is supposed to be. XD His "master"? Which would be... me?

What I understand: Oliver,a 12-yeared old boy,was bullied on his school for many various reasons.That caused him to start hating himself and harming himself in a feeble attempt to make himself feel better.However,that ended up being an addiction to him and finally goug out his eye.His mother and friends try to comfort him,but he refuses to accept it.

It has been 10 years huh, and i still love this song. It reflect nicely for people who are suffering with self harm. I used to make cuts on arm, shoulder, thigh back in high school. now finishing my degree and this song still hits me hard cuz now always fighting the urge to cut again. Wonder what the world would be like with no stigmas, or reduced stigmas on certain subjects. Like self harm, suicide, not going with the flow of the system(born, school, college, work). I wonder if anyone would be happier in a world like that. No judgment or special treatment towards any "abused" group, all equals.....That'd be kinda disgusting in reality, but justified. True equality - shitty living for all. Inequality - horrifying living for a lot of the world, unappreciated luxury for the other parts.... I think I love the world just how it is~

I mean....what if someone just really wanted to die? Like a cancer patient who doesn't want to bankrupt their family and live in agony the last year of his/her life. Or someone in an abusive situation too tired to go on or fight anymore and doesn't want the abuser to win by their submission? Or heck - someone who is just too lazy or doesn't have enough ambition to live in a world like this. If there were no stigma - could they have some sense of peace?

Same for self harm really....if someone wants to do that - why must we always tell them not to? They're gonna anyway. If they don't wanna die - people should educate on where not to cut, and limits to avoid death or major injury. Everyone acts like it's some taboo disgusting thing. It's not. Heck - tribes still use cutting to create decorative scars. Bleeding in general has been both ritualistic and medicinal for many centuries - not particularly "healthy" - but heck they survived somehow.

Hello people. I really liked this song and felt like I could relate to it as I'm going through some tough times for me but half way through the song when I was feeling sad I realised that I'll never be like that because God is with me. Because even if I hate myself and everyone's words are powerless there will be a piece inside me created by god full of hope and love. have you ever felt like everything is in vain but somewhere deep inside u feel like u have to still hold on. It has to be there even if a tiny flicker. so to everyone who feels like they can relate to this song I just want you to know that I know ur feeling and just as I believe that God is with me He is also with you. so never lose hope and always treasure the tiny flicker of hope inside you because it is the miracle thay will save you :)

2023, and the memories of my "living hell" from 2015 comes back to me. I'm only able to be glad, that I was able to overcome those problems from those times. Though for someone else ( a important person, all I can say randomly in a KZfaq comment ) it was also the last song they ever heard in their life. If thinking of his "final moments" while listening to this song's lyrics, his final moments must've been horrible. Makes me wonder, if finding this song is like "his final message" to me, or something. I absolutely fucking love this song. Touches my guts unlike songs normally would.

Cierra Fisher Hmm, well, I had something happen in my life that I blamed myself for, and got to the point where bullying myself over it became habitual, so this song came about when I was trying to recover from that. ^^ Though for actual song writing, everyone has a different way of going about it. The advice I would give is to make sure you have a clear idea of what you're trying to convey with the song before starting it. :D I didn't with this song tbh, and it came out... quite differently than what I had planned, hahaha. But people seem to like it, so that's good. c:

I've always been a big Oliver fan, this is probably one of the best videos I have ever seen, you have definatly used him well. Not only that, he's understandable. Alot of the time, it get's slightly hard to understand him. :)
