The last Hashira who was interviewed in the Databooks and asked about the others is Sanemi, so here are his thoughts. When asked about Gyomei he keeps it simple and says he respects him, and for Tokito he says that he hasn’t talked with the Mist Hashira all that much. For Rengoku, Sanemi remembers that he liked the Flame Hashira and that he considered him a good guy, while for Uzui he says the sound hashira is ALRIGHT, but often acts like he’s his older brother which is off-putting at times. For Shinobu Kocho, sanemi says that he talks to her every now and then because she’s Kanae’s little sister and we learned elsewhere in the Databook that he was inlove with her sister, but someone that he DOESN’t Love is Mitsuri Kanroji, who Sanemi says has an idiotic side that is really hard to deal with making him not like her all that much, while for Giyuu, he outright says that he HATES HIM, and he’s sick and tired of his I’m not like you guys attitude, a feeling shared by his fellow Hashira Obanai, who Sanemi says he gets along with the most, meaning the two definitely have a group chat without the Water Hashira for all their trash talk

Ikr. Giyuu has so much survivors guilt and imposter syndrome, he doesn't see how strong and talented he is. I think that Giyuu being more introverted also made other Hashira quick to misjudge him. Sometimes, people mistake introversion for arrogance and aloofness. Giyue needed hugs for way too long, but in the end, he has a found family and can smile.

Its a mix of survivor's guilt and impostor syndrome. Because his friends helped him survive, Giyuu feels he doesnt deserve to be a hashira, and is wanting to push the title to Tanjiro

Also in the extra page, tanjiro does frequently send letters to sanemi, but since sanemi isn’t able to write them, he only reads them and can’t send them back, but he does feel happy when he receives them which I thought was wholesome.

@@barbararab6390 in my opinion, people often mistake Rengoku's comical bluntness and natural enthusiasm for the simple pleasures of life for low intelligence. Remember, this man taught himself flame breathing from an incomplete series of books after his father became an embittered alcoholic and lost interest in mentoring him. Tanjiro was impressed with how quickly Rengoku assessed the situation once Enmu merged with the train, breaking the group into three teams - Tanjiro & Inusoke to locate and kill Enmu, Zenitsu & Netzuko to protect 3 cars and himself defending 5. Although he hadn't known the group long he seemed to intuitively understand how much each could handle. He also somehow managed to stabilize the train enough to prevent serious injuries. Tengen, no slouch at strategizing, praised Rengoku's leadership skills. On top of that, Rengoku was at the time apparently the only hashira whose student also became a hashira. In all fairness, had she lived, Shinobu would have been able to make the same claim.

Given the times she lived in, I even give her a pass for both the way she suppressed her true self for so long and her obsession with finding a husband. Hiwever, there's no denying she was an airhead. Her uniform says it all. She wore it proudly, not even realizing the pervy tailor who designed it had made a fool of her. Sone people might call it innocence. I call it idiocy. Rengoku was taken aback the first time she wore it and then glossed it over when he saw her reaction. Perhaps he didn't want to ruin her moment. Hiwever, I was disappointed in him. In my opinion, he should have had a word with the tailor and made him design a new uniform. Mitsuri was a sweetheart and her strength was unparalleled. A wounded Rengoku marveled at how easily slim Mitsuri was able to support hin after he killed Genya's Lower Moon equivalent in the story of how he became a hashira, Rengoku Gaiden. However, I much prefer the brilliant and bitchy Shinobu, who reached the rank of hashira, the nine deadliest fighters in the Corps, without being able to beheaded a demon. Killing over fifty demons or a Moon is an impressive feat for anyone. The fact that Shinobu achieved this without making any heads fall is amazing.
