This was my husbands favourite song, it was our wedding dance song, we cried lots. 31.3.18, then last year he gained his angel wings 9.2.22, listening to this again, I truly was The Luckiest to have been his wife, makes me cry so much!

I don't get many things right the first time In fact, I am told that a lot Now I know all the wrong turns The stumbles, and falls brought me here And where was I before the day That I first saw your lovely face? Now I see it everyday And I know that I am I am, I am the luckiest What if I'd been born fifty years before you In a house on the street where you live? Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike Would I know? And in a wide sea of eyes I see one pair that I recognize And I know that I am I am, I am the luckiest I love you more than I have Ever found a way to say to you Next door, there's an old man who lived to his 90's And one day, passed away in his sleep And his wife, she stayed for a couple of days And passed away I'm sorry, I know that's a strange way To tell you that I know we belong That I know that I am I am, I am the luckiest

It's my dream to sing this to my spouse at our wedding one day...except I'm in the same boat as you. I can't sing this song alone in my own room without crying, much less in front of an audience!

Hey, lady! They are not all guys! Some of them are gals. Only men can be guys. That's why people called Guy are all men.
@CorporateQueen3 жыл бұрын
@@davidstedeford387 I think you should perhaps learn some colloquial English before you try to correct people. 😂
@bassmanxan35443 жыл бұрын
@@CorporateQueen yes as many people use "guys" as a gender neutral term
@davidstedeford3873 жыл бұрын
@@CorporateQueen The term "guy" which I believe derives from Guy Fawkes and is still a boy's name has come to be used interchangeably for both sexes within my lifetime, perhaps within the last 20-30 years especially - in my youth a guy was always a man and, as proof of this, my dictionary of 1969 defines a guy as US colloquial for "man, fellow" . Language changes of course but I know there are women who do not wish to be called"guys" - search google "Do women want to be called "guy"?" and you'll see articles about women who don't. Despite the widespread current usage, originating in the US, I consider it demeaning to women as it's treating them as if they were men. I know my opinion will not change people's practice but just consider how men would feel if suddenly they were bracketed with women as "girls" or "gals." It would never happen. I've also heard women being called "chaps" which is just as bad. In an age of feminism it's perhaps surprising that more women don't stand up against this usage and assert "I am NOT a guy." And coming back to Voces8, they are a brilliant group of singers consisting of both men and women and whatever the world says I shall not be calling them "guys."

@azulponce73413 жыл бұрын
i think they are reposting their videos because they are now signed with one of the companies under vevo. being associated with vevo has some perks, such as your video being one of the first that pops up with a related search and generally more publicity :)
