OMG - i don't think I've ever cried for an advert before. So glad the turkey was happy and healthy and Live with its family for Christmas. Great advert Vodafone. I actually can't wait to show my kids this one also - I want to know why we are so happy to label some creatures as food, when plainly they are all as pet like as our cats and dogs. This turkey here played with the children in many ways the same as I remember growing up with my dogs and cats as a child.

hi all i would like to comment again and adjust some of my views after reading a bit about being a vegan, yeh i agree that if you do what you can do to reduce animal suffering then please do, this i myself would find hard, firstly i drive a car, my car kills insects and now and again i hit a bird or a rabbit or something, also cars are made from animal products, i take photos which have gelatin used in the printing process , my phone battery has animal products in as dose my TV screen , the bus and the train i travel on kill animals and have animal products used in there construction, even down to the glues, some are made from by products of dead animals. candles have stearic acid in them, like the one in the add, car tyres have stearic acid in as well. do you stop taking a cab, maybe the driver has just eaten a bacon sandwich as well, is that ok, i think the only company that make vegan car tyres are Michelin, , they use vedge based plant products, but the lorries that ship them may not be vegan, no cars are 100 per cent vegan, the Renault twizzy is getting there but will cost you quite a lot of money and you will still kill animals with it, like it of not, i cringe every time i kill a bird with my car, if its edible i will stop pick it up and eat it, it aint my fault someone has bred 4000 birds to be shot and let them all go, the same as that turkey in the add, depending on how i felt, i may eat it or i may not, personally i prefer not to eat turkey but if i was starving i sure would, ) ask your self if you was lost at sea in a small boat and the only thing you could eat to stay alive is fish, what would do, take a fishes life of die your self, under your rules you should die and starve, in this crazy war torn world, how would you feed a army, could you move all the vedge and non vegan food to feed a big army, in ww1 if you was starving you would eat a horse, what would you tell your troops to eat, they cannot hunt, maybe they could eat a tree, how can a Eskimo be vegan, why are grizzly bears not vegan , why do i have canine teeth, why do tigers murder other animals and eat them, i do not care one bit if folk go vegan but it pees me of when i get militant vegans go on and ram it down my throat, the world will never be vegan, check out china, 50 percent of the worlds pork goes there, look at the countries that live on insects, go tell em they cannot eat them. but anyway, back to the add, to me it is not vegan one bit, the paint on the walls, the phone the candle, even the ladies leather belt. and the bus. why is this advert so vegan, open your eyes, these folk like the rest of us rely on animal products without even knowing it, if you do not like it go and live in a mud hut
