I broke my arm 3 weeks ago doing arm wrestling with a friend, thinking it was just a game and not taking any precaution whatsoever. Had an operation 2 weeks ago and now I am waiting impatiently to fully recover... Feel so silly to end up like that. But at least it allowed me to discover a new discipline I knew nothing about before. This guy Denis, and the other John Brzenk are really impressive and definitely I think now arm wrestling isn't something one can laugh about based on cliché !

At just the age of 24 ! Having 7 World titles (3 waf - 4 pal) and beating Taras İvakin, Jan Germanus ,Aleksey semerenko, Matt Girdner, Andrey Pushkar (3x waf,eaf), Travis Bagent (3x zloty 2004),Cvetan Gashevski(was 75 kilos but a legend is a legend, Voevoda was just 20 years old kid then :)), Michael Todd and John Brzenk. If He kept going in armwrestling I cant imagine how great he could be its unbelievable. And people say he lost to an old man Bresnan 5-1 MAN LISTEN ; Bresnan was a phenom those years! Check out what he did to a PRIME PRE-SURGERY Larratt they had to go 7 rounds so larratt barely won . Not just larratt but in 2011 2012 he beat John Brzenk, he CRUSHED Travıs Bagent 6-0 !! (why nobody talks about it?) He was pulling like an animal and Voevoda after 9 years of retirement and being vegan still fought better than John and Travis did in 2011. after 2011 Tim hit his peak and he was a different animal. Thats why İgor has chosen him in 2012 and because of the role Voevoda had in a vegan documentary match took place in 2013.

Цыпленков превосходный феноменальный атлет показывающий что сила тоже может доминировать над техникой, побеждая более техничных соперников силой, жаль что той формы уже у Дениса наверно не будет никогда, и мы так и не узнаем смог ли он победить бы нынешнюю машину Сагинашвили в той форме или нет, в той что он сейчас против Левана у него увы нет шансов вот совсем, а до операции была б серьезная заруба и все было б не однозначно.

То что сила доминирует над техникой это факт и это не нужно показывать. Почему-то обыватели (не армреслеры) думают что раз Ципленков сильный, значит не техничный, для них впринципе наверно спортсмены делятся на сильных и техничных, может быть что то одно, сила или техника)). Ципленков очень хорош во всех аспектах: тактике, технике и т д, он не является примитивным борцом.

Are there any more videos of these two together? I know this is just training, but does one of them have the edge when they are pulling to win? I would think Cyplenkov is the stronger of these two.

At the time of this video Alexey hadn't pulled competetively for over 3 years so you're probably right. These two never pulled in competition.

Alexey was already off here..he was at his best in 2004, after 2007 he wasn't the same man..in terms of armwrestilng alteast..like Samson, he lost his strength with hair..
