She is known for her amazing belting tehnique and her resonance has some kind of matrix quality I dont know how to explain it. We call her The Ring. Adagio is italian word for tempo in music-slow(ly). Music is classical piece by Albinoni but adapted to be more pop-ish. Lara co wrote Italian and English lyrics. She is songwriter and composer too. I love italian version more because lyrics are more haunting and her singing in italian is everything. Her emotive abilities are outwordly 😭. She has 10 years of formal classical studies at Royal Conservatory of Brussels-theory and singing and she still works with her vocal coach everyday for 2hr not depending if she has to sing that day or not. Since she has a severe acid reflux I guess she is more aware of her health and keeping her vocals as healthy as possible. Besides her obvious music artistry, I love her personality. She is funny as hell and down to earth. Now, to complete triology please react to her Caruso. As I said before her singing in italian is 😭😭. P.S. At one point,briefly, she wanted to be a lawyer. LAWYER?! 😣. Thank God that didn't happen. Sorry for the long post 🙈 as you can see I am a huge fan

One correction- Adagio in G minor is often credited to Tomaso Albinoni, but was written by Remo Giazotto and published in 1958. He claimed it was based on a scrap of music from Albinoni, but that scrap has never been found and Giazotto never produced it.

Totally get it ♥️ I'm a fan of DIMASH. I watched Lara Fabians version because DIMASH was inspired by her and loved the song. But I just prefer his version. Totally personal taste. By the way there's some DIMASH I don't much like ... the Michael Jackson stuff! Happy you finally got around to Lara Fabian's Adagio. At 76 years of age I've heard most of the great singers of our time and she is right up there with them. My Lord what a performance. Her audiences goes crazy for her. I'd love to seer her live.

In Adagio, she can show almost every register she has and her amazing technique and support. After the key change the song gets even better. Italian version is even more powerful because of the lyrics and her Italian roots make her accent pure perfection . I love that melody since i was a child because of classical music listening and I decided to purchase the CD in 2001 of that unknown artist to me at that time because of Adagio and her polyglot character explicit in that album. Her best album in my opinion. Became a fan since then until forever.😍

You know, it is so beautiful to witness your facial expressions changing... You have the most expressive face. You have such a resplendent face. This gorgeous smile, the stunning eyes... Everything about your face portrays so much authenticity and beauty and generosity. You are the perfect person to do what you do, to express a reaction. You can translate every feeling, every emotion, every sentiment with so much truth and precision. Besides, your emotional vocabulary is so vast and refined. Wow! On 6:26, you also see how she changed the vowel from eh to uh as she ascended higher in pitch. Darkening the higher note a bit. I have seen many vocal coaches react to this video without ever mentioning that.

Great reaction, I love watching music lovers discover Lara Fabian. I've heard singers express that technically You're Not From Here is even more impressive than other more popular songs. Adagio is the first song I heard her sing and I fell in love with her voice. God has gifted this woman with an exquisite voice and I love hearing her, what a magnificent instrument!! She is also a great story teller. Her body expresses her every emotion when she sings and that brings a uniqueness to all the songs she sings. She makes you feel the very song without even knowing the language and that to me is remarkable! Bravo Lara Fabian❤️

I have just this year discovered Lara. I feel cheated of the many years she was a formidable talent. This time in her career is one of my favorites but I do find recent music of hers interesting as well.

I have been a fan of Lara since 1998 and she is absolutely inspiring. Please react to YOU’RE NOT FROM HERE from the same concet: from Lara with Love. I love that you gave some tips on how to control the breath support which is key for anything to function. Thank you and carry on the great work. Yay to you explaining about the intercostal muscles - like the little exercise you demonstrated, there are fun exercises to do (even with kids, once they are old enough to have enough ability to isolate them) to help people have some extra air to support better resonance -- in some case for speech if they need to project it and/or have issues with their vocal cords - - on in your case, for singing. Same muscles ... :) With Lara Fabian, you can all but 'see' her using her intercostal muscles right at the end of that ENDLESS phrase -- she has not only fantastic lung capacity, but also unbelievable control of parsing the air out and not running out of it ... AND the ability to get that last second of vocalization out without compromising on volume or pitch or resonance. It. Is. Masterful! She is totally out of this world. A true artist of her craft. Fabian the Fabulous. Nicely done, you. I cam across your channel and now I want to watch more.

One of the best reactions ever. Thanks a lot for the vocal warm up guide towards the end. I have hurt my vocal cords many a times trying to emulate Lara. I love drag and one day I will become Lara and sing her live. I've been really crazy about this angel for years now. Seeing her live is a very unearthly experience altogether. when I saw her live in 2016 I had already loved and emulated her for 5 years. So seeing her live was the most magical moment of my life since it was my first international travel and it was only for Lara. The moment she stepped on the stage and the light fell on just her hair, and she sang the first lines "fermes la porte et pose" I burst into tears. I couldn't believe the reality around me. She sounds surreal. It's like unbelievable perfection that surrounds you and you don't realize when it gets over. She is starting her next tour from the next month and that too in the US. For me, living in India it's very difficult to be in her concerts.

@@BenMojo. yes it was ma vie dans la tienne tour in Istanbul. Then I was also booked for camouflage tour in Romania but couldn't go as the flight tickets got really expensive. Being Indian it's difficult to go anywhere.

@@TheVoiceLoveCo Lara is my favourite singer quite possibly ever and it's so fulfilling as a singer to see you do all these reactions and to be able to binge them whenever. Her repertoire is impossible to get through in a series of KZfaq videos and the immense effort and wisdom you put into each one is amazing and I can never be appreciative enough to you for everything ❤️

Love Lara if it is possible to love a singer....She gives us not only her technique or talent...She gives us all her soul and this is why I love her so much :) And thank you for your delight :))) You make a very nice impression with your feelings and your smile :)))

Yaaaay!! Thank you, you've made my day! This performance is breathtaking. I've heard, though haven't been able to verify for sure, that this song is basically a plea to the powers of inspiration to not abandon her. If you listen with that in mind it makes more sense. Her creativity is phenomenal. I mean, who hears a piece of classical music and thinks, "I'm going to write a love song to inspiration to this"? One other note, this concert was filmed in Canada in 2000 for release on PBS to introduce her to the US. Sadly her label didn't give her the support she deserved and it ended quickly.

@@TheVoiceLoveCo The original piece has inspired several artists. The most famous version being a neo-classical instrumental track on electric guitar, and I guess she comes next with this Adagio, also covered live numerous times by Dimash. He is a fan of her, and has covered a couple more songs by her. They incidentally have worked with Russian composer and conductor Igor Krutoy, which shows the value of both singers.. What did I like most with this performance? Well, Its pure masterclass, from start to finish.

She wrote the lirycs in italian too, the music been wrote by Albinoni ( Milano 1958) called Adagio in sol minore, Lara Sophie Katy Crokaert , thats her real name, take Fabian when his uncle Fabiano passed away and she lived in Italy with her mom, she can sing in 12 different lenguages and she like to sing lots songs wrote from Igor Krutoy. Love is like a dream, Madamoiselle Hyde and other the same that Dimash sing. I hope you can use this info to appreciate more this great artist., well done. Sorry for my bad english I'm italian

Small correction- Adagio in G minor was written by Remo Giazotto and published in 1958. He claimed it was based on a scrap of paper with music from Albinoni on it, but he never produced it and it's never been found. So at most you could say Albinoni inspired it, but he didn't compose it. So it's kind of sad Giazotto doesn't get the credit he deserves for it. Also, Lara co-wrote all those songs with Igor Krutoy, except for Love Is Like a Dream and The Love of Tired Swans (but she wrote the lyrics to the French version Je T'aime Encore).

Can't wait to go see her in October! Got the chance to see her last year in Florida, and meet her after the concert. The experience was absolutely magical, I was so surprised by her humility and level headedness consider the level of her talent. She is truly an amazing artist and person! Hope many more have the opportunity experience it in person. ❤

In one of Lara's concerts little girl gave her flowers and said that she listened to her often with her father but he died, so now when she listens to her she feels like he is there with her. Of course since then every time she comes to Paris, Lara calls her and they have lunch, go shopping and spend few hours together. Enough said.

One interesting fact : she's a coach in the Canadian version of The Voice. She sang one of her songs with a finalist and the result was incredible. I don't remember the name of the song, though.

I have recently been a tad obsessed with these reaction videos and I have to pay you a complement. You did not pause the video once during the song (avec Je Suis Malade as well) where most 'reactors' stop and start. Watching you enjoy the performance is a beautiful thing. This is a breath-taking performance, as you noted! That gasp at the end -- startling and beautiful. I've been following Lara since I lived in Belgium (her native country) in the 1990s. While always a powerful singer, in the last 10 or 15 years she has matured further into one of the most captivating vocalists in the world. Her interpretive skill (in high evidence in Adagio, obviously) is incomparable among female singers. (If you want a real emotional shock to your system, look at her “Je Suis Malade.” English subs available in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i9iJpNGTyJanaHU.html) Lara and Celine Dion were competitors in the same Eurovision contest (1988). Dion (representing Switzerland) took first place, Fabian (in it for Luxembourg) fourth.

Speechless!!!! YES!!! My all time favorite singer up there with Celine, Streisand, Mariah, Whitney ... but here’s is why she’s my favorite. She can belt with equal facility and skill in 12 languages!!! That is NOT a mis-print. Please all who read this youtube “ Lara Fabian sings in 12 languages” the one posted by “ Fabian fans” and watch highlights from songs she performed and belted in 12 languages!!!!!!!!!! Beyond amazement. Then watch my favorite Fabian song: KZfaq “ Lara Fabian Broken Vow” she co-wrote it and altho it is performed by Josh Groban, Lara’s version far superior. Please watch the one posted by Marcopanji ( her live performance) where I believe she explains how the inspiration for the song came to her. You will love this version. Lara is still active. The most underrated singer of all times. Al P.s. Speaking of vocal range and singing ...I have a Facebook friend-a kid ( young adult early 20s) who is from Vienna Austria and he is gay and was bullied in school and is practically homeless ( I’m on Social Security but send him $30 almost every paycheck). But he spends any extra money making studio videos. He has a 6-octave vocal range with a pure wistletone. He is almost totally unknown and tells me in Vienna they don’t even know he sings. But I consider him in my top 3 male singers under 25 with Dimash #1 and Daryl Ong #2. His idol is Mariah Carey and since here is a list of songs that will blow your mind to kingdom come and utter how the heck is he not famous??? I’ll tell you why : he doesn’t have $$$ to travel to US or UK or Australia ( and enter the reality show “ The Voice which if he did enter he would win by the largest margin in the history of any of these shows). Anyway once you ( or your subscribers) watch these live studio versions, you will utter OMG OMG. Please KZfaq “Piet Arion Mariah Medley” “Piet Arion one moment in time” ( best cover even superior to Whitney’s studio version) “ Piet Arion “ run to you” ( performed when a teenager 7 years ago) “ Piet Arion the long and winding road” ( performed as a teenager ...uses all 6 octaves and my favorite cover) And finally, an original song he wrote that I consider one of the best of the last few years ( hauntingly beautiful) “ Piet Arion for A.F.” No title but written for AF who broke his heart. I’ve watched this 10 times and I am moved to the depths of my soul every time and all you who have loved someone deeply but who has left you will relate!!! Beyond amazing!! All love, Al

Thank you for your reaction. I've been listening to Adagio in G minor by Tomaso Albinoni (or Giazotto) for years, and am so pleased that someone has put words to this beautiful composition. Lara has such an exquisite voice, & gives it the deeply felt treatment that it requires. I tell people that if a movie has an adagio playing over the opening credits, it's going to be a sad one. A Swedish guitarist, Yngwie Malmsteen, has done a scorching, shredding version of it, beginning with a very brief Paganini bit, that is surprisingly, passionately moving. You can find it on You Tube if you're curious.

Lara Fabian is one of my favorite singer ever with Celine Dion, Jessie J and Whitney. Some good singer have a great and powerful voice, but Lara got the emotion and perfect control too. Shes stunning, she don't just scream at the start, she sing with passion and emotion. Only the big legend sing like that... You should react some video of Jessie J from 'The singer 2018' like purple rain or My heart will go on (even if she was sick and got a heart disease this day) or just a 'best vocal video'. She is really underrated.

What I liked about your videos is that you are listening to the entire song without trying to analyze what is going on while the song is being played. Or even pause the video to display a note, then return to the video (something like ads that cut off the moment of enjoying a video, which literally drives me crazy to the point that I swear I will never buy that product) so thanks and well done
