I wish I could have remained one of those 10 people, but my life took a turn… I’ve never forgotten about you and your stream, though. Often times the sound of your beautiful falsetto singing “Fallen Leaf” comes to rest gently in my head and makes me feel warm and introspective, and I wonder how you’re doing and if you’ve still kept up with the steam. Good to know you have. You have a pleasant and very unique style. If ever I’m able to join again, I’d love to (even if you don’t remember me at all). When you sang your original songs, it was always my favourite. I enjoyed requesting them and having a listen. Take care. Maybe I’ll see you again one of these days in the steam. :)

So good to hear and see you this morning. The fact that you are pushing into uncomfortable. I share the difficulty playing before others, but it is getting better. I’ve been thinking about the singing/playing, and the writing and sharing of songs. What we are doing is sharing what is a large part of what is important to us, to the community. A conversation if you will. Like any attempt to share, some will engage, some won’t. That is to be expected. So, like in most endeavors in life, we tend to really connect to a smaller group. I'd love seeing any kind of vocal content from you it doesn't have to celebrity singer reactions. I'd even like Jeff Rolka style excercises or vlogs about what specific techniques you are working on. Really enjoyed your reaction videos, I am not into singing, during the lockdown period I started listening to music, however I don't understand the technical side. Listening to voice coaches analysis makes the video I find more entertaining. I didn't understand why you have to choose between the two options.

Carl is a decision necessary in an absolute one sided way though? - I believe you have 2 viable options that would still largely benefit your personal audience goal. First would be to just drastically limit the type of videos that people request from you due to popularity. Maybe do like only 3 reaction videos a month, but include several singers in that one video so there's plenty of content to watch still. Or maybe do it like, only one video of that type per week. I personally don't watch many reaction videos, but I can understand why some fans of singers would want to hear your particular reaction - and in a sense it does end up being about you. The second option is to always include a short clip of your singing in the intro of each video of that type - so they could see your skills - sometimes it's not even about whether they are interested more in other people than you - sometimes people just get too lazy to search up your singing stuff, if you give them both at the same time in a way that it's still not "Pushed in their face" - then I personally see some mutual benefit there. Don't get me wrong I support your choice, I just don't see why you have to pick one or the other, just make it clear whats your primary focus and do the other one occasionally on the side and that's that. But hey, at the end of the day it's your life and you do what you believe it's right man ! (I don't show up to the streams due to rarely seeing you live in my time zone, but I do watch your replays from time to time - have followed since you and tristan were buddies and he wasn't a HUGE youtuber )

Hey man, it must be maybe the age difference between us but right now what I'm thinking after watching this video is that you shouldn't think too much about the future. You can't predict it at all and everything as much as say losing the internet connection for only a couple of minutes will change the course of your life.. Might be something positive like dodging a negative comment that puts your mood off or maybe something bigger like never answering an important skype call from some big producer... You get the idea. Just do your thing, its not really up to you to make your future. You just do what makes you happy and you do it for the amount of people that enjoy it in the present and eventually that number will grow. In the end it only matters that you're happy. And on a side note, are you in London? Would love to have some singing lessons but not really a big fan of skype. All the best
