Little story about this band.. Voice of Baceprot is now known abroad thanks to its action of bringing rock songs. But who would have thought, during their struggle, they went through a lot of steep roads and experienced bullying. This metal band, which is inhabited by a trio of hijabers Firdda Kurnia (vocalist), Euis Siti (drummer) and Widi Rahmawati (bassist), is from Banjarwangi District, Garut Regency. They formed in mid 2013. At that time, they were united by a BK teacher at his school named Cep Ersa Eka Susila Satya. At first, they were a theater troupe band with 15 personnel. Over time, the personnel began to decrease. Starting from 7, until now there are only three. On their way, they face difficult obstacles. They went through a steep road to be able to fly like now. One of the obstacles for the personnel is the inadequate facilities in their villages, so that the distance between their residences is far from the city. Parental permission is also a control. This is the reason behind the reduction in the number of personnel from 15 to three at this time. "Actually, it's not the parents' fault, but my fault for not being able to convince their parents," said the man who is familiarly called Abah Erza. In addition, they are also often bullied. Classic things that are often used as material for bullying by haters, one of which is because they wear the hijab and play rock music. There was also one time when they participated in a music competition, they were ostracized because they were considered too young to participate in the competition. In the last 4 years or so, VoB has shot up in the Indonesian music scene, and even penetrated overseas. Voice of Baceprot has now even received many invitations to perform at international music events. Finally, recently they had a gig in the Netherlands. The songs they created are also now starting to enliven the world of music. The touch of a song theme that is different from other musical groups is the hallmark of this metal band. Abah Erza advised the personnel not to be satisfied with their achievements. Abah Erza's message specifically for the three personnel is, continue to fight to be free human beings.
