Dimash sings SOS live about 90% of the time. While I appreciate all reactors who react to Dimash, it’s unfortunate that you chose one of the few that wasn’t live as your first reaction. SOS at Slavic Baazar was live despite the lack of ear monitors. He had stage floor monitors. A backing track for the music. Not a live band. Sinful Passion was live. All performances at Singer live. It's a contest! Concerts all live Showcases live. Music videos not live. For obvious reasons. Dimash is classically trained to sing opera....but has also studied other styles . Opera requires the ability to sing and project over a live orchestra without microphones. Dimash grew up in a singing home and environment that enabled him to sing anytime. He strengthens his lungs through swimming. Never touches alcohol , drugs or smoke He has worked tirelessly on honing his skill. Why would he lip sync to an audience ? Do you go to the opera to watch them lip sync ? When you have studied and trained and mastered the skill and art of singing...it's ludicrous the thought. Pavoratti doesn't lip sync at performances in front of audiences. If you can't deliver the goods....you don't belong on the stage. Too many people today have gotten lazy about their craft and come to rely on technology short cuts and fakeery. Because they respect money and fame before they respect the craft and honing it to excellence. Pure laziness and less than honorable priorities. He composed it and his dad did the lyrics. Check the MV. He did a live version in front of the Kazakh judges and they tore the flesh from his bones with their scathing reactions. Dimash stood tall and was totally respectful, being the class act that he is. I have often wondered what those judges think of him now, not just now but since 2012. On a different note, given that a singer with Dimashi's mastery and physical capabilities doesn't come around in every composer's lifetime, it must be like a dream for Igor and Dimash to work together.

Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable (in all forms) of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world. FYI.. This video has been reuploaded and manipulated so many times the sync impressions are just that out of sync, nothing more. There is no lip sync or auto-tune, a command performance before Russian dignitaries.

I’ve never heard anyone who saw Dimash live complain about backing vocals, auto tune or lip synching. They report hat he never sings a song the same way twice and that his live performances are equal to or better than his studio recordings.

If you check the facts, Dimash does NOT lip sync nor uses auto tune. Even when he does a studio version or singing on a digital performance, as in the Pandemic, he is completely 100% natural.
