She wasn’t a great singer. She was a shadow of her husband. The real star. She’s only famous because of him. This is her only hit. She was terrible. Look up Diego Verdaguer. He the one worthy of reactions. Not this lady. And yes. I’m a Mexican. I’m well aware of who she is.

Si pero la verdad era mejor de joven la voz pero es lógico la condición no es la misma. se nota que hace muchas pausas pero aún si la sra. Sigue siendo de las mejores ni su hija es similar aunque canta bonito no hay comparación con nadie

@@monomonita De joven cantaba con más polenta, pero la afinación y el control de los matices eran un poco dudosos. Era joven y aún inexperta. Lógico, yo tengo la visión de un cantante, y entiendo que el público, en general, no repara tanto en esos detalles. Hoy veo una Amanda Miguel con una afinación perfecta y un manejo de los matices y las sutilezas increíbles. Ya no tiene la polenta de antes, pero tiene un oficio que le permite dar lo mejor sin gran esfuerzo

Amanda Miguel is an Argentinian treasure. In the 80''s there was another singer, Valeria Lynch, also from Argentina who also reached a climax on her career trough a potent voice. I do not know if they were professional rivals but they both were and are still considered queens of music and dramatic interpretations. I love them both. Maestro, I hope you enjoy this other Argentinian Diva singing "Mentira'

I loved this song. When I was young, I’d sing to it. My parents would let me to practice singing…. Then I got hurt like the songs’ singer says… and damn it. I sang it in a talent show with my tears. Damn straight I put the dude in his place. One sings this song with the heart. A broken, painfilled heart that refuses to heal the way the world demands women to heal… I love this song

Yo puedo ir caminando por una calle, o a bordo de un transporte colectivo, y suena en la voz de Amanda Él me mintió y ténganlo por seguro que no me bajo en la parada que me corresponde, sino a la que lleguemos si termina la canción... Yes, her voice has always been great, but in her younger years, when she and her husband, Diego Verdaguer, moved to Mexico, her voice was more powerful.
