He really has a unique voice and can achieve extraordinary notes on songs like El Dorado and Baby Do not Cry. Two other main singers are Chen and D.O and they, at least in my opinion, are the three singers I most admire in the group. However, the group has other hidden talents such as Chanyeol (red hair, playing guitar) - he has an incredible voice, but his role in the group is as a main rapper. they train for years together since like 14 years old Korean artist must train and when your company thinks you're ready, you debut. EXO's leader the guy whose spray the bottled he trained for 6 years until he became exo's leader in 2012. They basically grow up together ,practice ,learn and go through many lessons still today they take vocal lessons. Korean Industry is more complex and organized also alot harder to enter into than western. They don't always look for you have a decent vocie or nice vocie sometimes you could be scouted because of how pretty u look and they teach/train you hard like their dancer sometimes they used sandbags tied around the wasit which is extremely painful.

I personally feel that Baekhyun (the one that you asked if he was a rapper) is the most well-rounded member of the group: he has an amazing singing voice and an awesome range, he can also rap (you can hear him rapping in "Horololo"), he's a great dancer (not as studied as Sehun or Kai though) but he's pretty amazing and picks up choreographies pretty quickly AND has great stage presence (while the others tend to be pretty shy or just too forceful) which is super important for a performer. Just my two cents

He is self-declared the funniest member of the group, EXO 😂😂😂😂😂 He is in a musical The Man Who Laughs now, he has improved a lot since his first musical. Watching your reactions.. I learned 2 things 1. singing is a lot more fun and complex than i thought it was 2. I learned to appreciate EXO more (their talent and their hardwork) I don't take vocal/singing lessons so i dont know lots of stuffs about music and singing. The only thing i know is that every music EXO had produced, i love every each of them. Whenever i listen to their songs, even though i cannot entirely understand it without googling its meaning since im an international fan, it still connects to me. Those feels that ive felt whenever i listen to them are sincere and real. They are so talented but i know that talent doesn't grow like this without hardwork and perseverance to grow and improve more. They spend years of their lifetime just to become better and they've achieved it. Since i know a little thing bout singing, i thought i would not understand what you're gonna say, i was wrong. You explained it clearly and precisely. Their techniques in singing are no joke. They dance too so its a lot more difficult to do but they managed it. Thank you for your reaction... a little information about exo: they debuted in 2012 under sm entertainment the members from left to right: -lay (the only Chinese member, main dancer, vocalist, has a solo career and produces, writes, composes his own songs) -xiumin (the oldest, lead vocalist (can also rap) ) -sehun (the youngest, lead dancer and lead rapper (can also sing very well actually but doesn't do it that much)) -chen (main vocalist and has a really good range you could watch some of his solo stages from masked singer a show he was on) -suho (the leader of the group, the lead vocalist, he recently played in a musical) -baekhyun( another main vocalist, and yes he's the jokester as you said but he actually doesn't really rap) - kai (the one with the more in the back voice) ( he is the main dancer and a vocalist and rapper, his vocals really improved throughout the years and he has a really charming voice (in my opinion) -d.o (and another main vocalist, he has a really nice tone and is really good at live performances and just overall really stable, he's also an amazing actor) -chanyeol (main rapper and vocalist, he's really multitalented and plays multiple instruments such as the guitar and the piano) exo originally had 12 members but 3 left and have now solo careers. the remaining members all have really good relationships with each other so no tea no shade and some of them still live togehter in a dorm. (sorry if I made any mistake English is not my first language)

The guy you said has the backward voice is Kai ( 13:13 ). He's the main dancer and visual of the group, also a secondary rapper, but he has demostrated to have a really nice voice. If you want to hear more of his voice I recommend you a winter album that EXO released a year ago called "Universe", ALL the songs in that album are beautiful.

The one singing solo for a bit while playing the guitar is Yixing. He was singing his solo track Monodrama, which he wrote and helped produce. He is not a main vocalist however his voice is really good and he has really improved over the years and he is a main dancer. While also being a member of EXO he is also a very popular soloist in China (where he is from) and has written, composed, produced and released many songs since Monodrama. I would suggest checking out his song Goodbye Christmas, I love his vocals in that though I don't think there is a live performance of it.
