Funfact: the first time they played this song was in SanRemo Festival, 2 months before Eurovision, and Damiano accidentally felt from the stage. They won SanRemo competition so he decided to fall at the end of the performance, for good luck. It worked!!! 😃

When we watched this live, it was like everyone came to perform on a music show while Maneskin came to do a concert. They were just so professional and such a tight knit band. Fell in love with them, and I’m so glad they are blowing up. It’s very well deserved.

They were not like them. I really liked all of the Top10 this year, definitely all of the Top 5. But hell, Maneskin really blew them away. Keep in mind that at the time of Eurovision the pandemic had isolated us for more than 12 months with multiple lockdowns, some areas (like Italy) having suffered immensely. Also, all live concerts cancelled, I hadn't been to any for over a year. In this context suddenly a band comes on stage (on TV !) and has so much charisma, so much energy, that you are speechless. They sing in Italian, which surprisingly makes it even better (in my opinion), they have a female bass guitar player (Who the hell has that ? Not many male-fronted bands...), their outfits, their charisma (When Damiano walks you in .....), and finally his unique quintessential rock voice. Let's be honest, if he had fronted the Rolling Stones 50 years ago, no one would have complained either....Yes, this band has been a revelation and for me will always be linked as the turning point of the pandemic mood (at least in Europe). I would be surprised if they don't end up with several end-of-year awards !

This man is a TREASURE

I've seen them live twice now and let me tell you their show is INTENSE. Obviously, fans go insane near the stage, but they go hard and they just don't stop delivering song after song. I quite literally felt like their lyrics "tu portami dove sto a galla che qui mi manca l'aria" because I truly couldn't breath haha. Damiano has so much stamina, it's gets so hard to sing along while sweating in the crowd (I still tried my best but 4 consecutive songs without pause is too much for my lungs).
