She sang on that concert 14 songs in a row with no water or breaks to change costumes. Dancing and sing with that powerful and overwhelming voice. That's why no one can fill her shoes. She's the queen 👑

Your right...seeing Selena live alot of times I don't ever think i ever saw her drinking water or changing outfits..she was a class act...I miss not going to her shows...I'm from texas so I would usually attend her concerts if they were in the san antonio area 👍

And no earpiece at all. I saw an interview of A.B and Suzette that it was kinda difficult even in rehearsals because the stadium is very echoey. So they have to concentrate and focus the whole time. Selena sang on stage, with confidence, no earpiece and even dancing without any difficulties. Never once she sang out of key with all the dancing ang echoey situation. QUEEN!

Not only that, but Selena also held concerts at Astrodome in 1994 and 1993 (this one is in 1996). Selena sold out Astrodome both in 1993 and 1994 as well as in 1995. She was on her way to mainstream stardom.

I remember when she passed away I was in School (5th grade) and they announced it over the school intercom that she had been killed. Many of us were in shock, for the next 3 days they had counselor that kids could go to and sit in a separate room to grieve the loss of her. Even my little school in the middle of nowhere Texas knew the importance of her and how it affects all of the student not just us Hispanics.

I was 30 years old and my son 7 mths when La Reina passed away. It was on a Friday and we had just gotten home and was getting situated. Turned on the tv and it was plastered all over the news with YS sitting in a vehicle pointing a gun to her head. The same weapon used in SELENA's slaying. This year will be SELENA'S 25th Anniversary. My son also turns 25 this year. The Quintinilla family has cancelled the La Fleur festival indefinitely. Idk why.

This made me cry =( I was 7 years old when she passed away and I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was watching the news while my mom was cooking and I heard it on Primer Impacto. As soon as I heard the tragic news, I ran outside to my front yard until my feet gave out and I fell to my knees, crying my little heart out. Selena will never be forgotten. R.I.P Selena

A lot people think this was her last concert but it wasn't, this was her last HUGE concert, it was recorded live for everyone to watch on TV. Her last concert was actually on the 19th of March in Bryan, TX. Unfortunately this concert was not recorded, but there are pictures of it. Selena wore one of the outfits she had designed herself, a green and black pattern, it was gorgeous on her, just like everything else. I miss her dearly and will always love her 💔

Y en todo parece echo adrede por el destino o no se es difícil de explicar pero todo en los 90s era mejor musica, programas de tv, deportes, vídeo juegos ( aunque ahora hay mejores gráficos etc no se compara con la emoción de jugar a las viejas pero mas divertidas maquinistas) nuestro barrio en los 90s estaba lleno de vida ahora parece un pueblo fantasma creo que di a entender mi punto saludos!

Watching the fireworks at the end of this concert always makes me cry, because, little did she know, she had barely over a month to live at that point, and this was such a great send-off from her fans to her, and vice versa. I will forever love Selena. She was a complete artist, a star that worked hard for her dreams and was taken from this world way too young, she was just starting to get big! She achieved so much, and I will always be proud of her. She represented latinas with such grace and charisma. No one has done it like she did it. She was stunning, got the coolest moves and such a beautiful voice. La reina!

Idk why I started to tear up when she started waving goodbye ending her concert. I felt as if she was saying goodbye to us. Man I wish I had the chance to see her live, I grew up watching her. My nana loved her. That was our bonding time singing selena and watching the movie. I miss them both ❤️

I was 2 when she died and have no hispanic background... But somehow, my mom knew her music and gave me her “amor prohibido” cassette. From that, I fell in love with all her work. Selena knew no borders... there was no limit to her charm and it reached people of all cultures. I still get emotional when I watch her! She deserved so much better

I've come back to rewatch this reaction in particular because I love the emphasis on Selena's musical and vocal techniques/abilities as well as her outstanding performance. I was one of those people who didn’t know who she was until after her untimely and shocking passing. Her music changed my life. I never spoke more than two words of Spanish but after watching the movie, my entire musical world was turned on it’s ear. I’m so incredibly sad she’s gone but she left so much amazing music behind. I’m incredibly indebted to her. And I celebrate her music every day of my life♥️

In tears!! Idk why but listening to Selena always gets me in my feelings! 🥺🥺 I fee some attachment to her, my name is Selena and was clearly named after her. My dad loved her personality. Always happy, super nice and sweet girl. Very humble and kind. ❤️ oh how I wish I could’ve met her or at least attended a concert. Specifically this one because I’m from Houston. RIP, will forever live in our hearts. Thank you Andy for this video, really been enjoying your videos. Especially the old Mexican music, it just takes me back to riding in the car with my dad and jamming out. Special moments I will forever cherish. I remember it like it was yesterday I was 10 yrs old I’ll never forget seeing her cover in People Magazine. My sister saved a copy. At that age I had not yet experienced a death and Selena’s passing felt so close to home. I cried soo much I just couldn’t understand why?🥺 Im from SA, Tx and remember everyone around me mourned her death at school, family, neighbors and at Church. Today My 3 sons know who she is and her music. She had a beautiful soul, Para siempre Selena 💜💜

@@paolapar On the day she passed away, I was in San Antonio Texas for a Spanish convention where many high school students attended-- I was walking down the river walk close to the Alamo. I remember vividly how a group of students from the convention center were crying. They kept saying Selena is dead! They were especially devastated because they were from Corpus Christi-- many of them had know the singer personally.

I sadly remember that day, I was standing in line at Fedex to send a package with airlines tickets for Selena and her crew, when I received a call from my boss that she was killed, I was in shock, I can't believed that I was working in her travel itinerary to come to Los Angeles, Ca., for a concert that she was going to perform in April that year. Her dreams and my dream to see Selena in a concert was gone...so sad. She will never be forgotten. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
