Growing up, I wasn't really raised listening to Spanish music, only great 80's rock, pop, and different era's of music. My mom would rarely put on a Vikki Carr CD though. However Vicente "Chente" Fernandez is different. My parents may not listen to him but I occasionally do even if it's just two songs. That voice, is platinum. I'd listen to him over cumbias or some other Mexican music that I've heard while living in my hometown of El Paso, TX. The mariachi band reminds me of being at family or friend functions and hearing them playing over a speaker. I may be 24, but I know good music in ANY genre and I play the guitar and partially the piano. He's literally the Sinatra (I LOVE Sinatra btw) of Mexico as I once read, and possibly the Latin/Mexican Freddie Mercury. Unbelievable. Once again Andy, another great reaction video and you've earned a new subscriber!!!
