I'm going to jump on the "Northwest Passage" bandwagon. I also recommend finding the video on KZfaq where Brittney explains what is happening in that video. The song by itself is fantastic but I find the video more enjoyable knowing who Evil Brittney is. Another great song is "Faster than Light". Can't wait for UTA to be on tour again so I can see them live. The video of Brittney doing Karaoke after a concert is also fun to watch.

Please make a reaction to a young, very popular singer in world. Videos from this singer collect hundreds of millions of views. Diana Ankudinova is now only 17 years old. She has a very unique, very deep, clear voice. Dr. Marc Reynolds (Voice Teacher, Stage Director, Performance Coach and Consultant, and Acting Coach) said about the performance of this girl: Really really exceptional! Even if you ignore her age, even is she was 10, 20, 30 years older, this is still a really exceptional performer here that we're seeing. But at her age, unbelievable. Really really exceptional! Absolutely gorgeous! And again, not just because of her voice, because her performing, watching how nuanced and engaging her performance is. Ah, it's just so stunning. It's absolutely amazing.

I still think you might find "General of the Dark Army" to be quite the treat. The metal growl and screams are a bit more to the forefront, but they way they do it is very interesting, and they are still secondary to her singing.

When I was young, I could hit those A5s as a natural 2nd alto; I had a choir director stick me with the 1st sopranos so I could keep them on key when we did Handel's Messiah. I wasn't as powerful hitting those high notes, but I was always on key. I had wanted to sing professionally, but I can't do it now- in fact, I can't sing at all anymore. I have nodes on my vocal cords which have left me with a very hoarse voice and it breaks all the time now. It turns out that a virus left me with vocal cord scarring when I was in my late 20s. I learned when I was in my mid 20s that I overdevelop scar tissue from any injury, but no one warned me that viruses can do the same thing, so it came as a shock. The condition is so bad that I went to a specialist, and he suggested I have a tonsillectomy when I was 42 in an attempt to improve my voice and because I had problems swallowing, and it took 5 years for the scar tissue to soften enough for me to swallow without feeling like my throat had callouses. I've since given up ever being able to sing again, as I'm now 55 and surgery to attempt to remove the nodes would most likely leave my voice even worse, rather than better. It's taken a long time resigning myself to that fact and not being angry or bitter, since singing was such an important part of my life. I still carry my music with me though- I have a large tattoo of a treble clef between my shoulder blades- my music may be behind me, but it's still always a part of me.

Now that I think about it, it's pretty easy to be oblivious these days. In the 90s we all had pretty similar TV channels, but today, everything is so optimized with trackers and algorithms and "personalized experiences" that we're in bubbles. Songs with millions of hits can be *obscure* .

You’ve got a sub from me. I see you’ve reacted to some metal, so here’s another reaction must-see: “Sons of Winter and Stars” by band Wintersun (the video you should see is the “TIME I Live Rehearsals At Sonic Pump Studios). The frontman, Jari Mäenpää writes all the music (except for drums, I think) and is also the lead singer, even though he’s missing a part of his lungs due to a battle he had with tuberculosis. Despite that handicap, he’s still a great singer and vocalist. As much as I want to say more, I don’t want to spoil anything. I think you and your audience will enjoy listening to it immensely.

I've requested this before but her vocal idol is Daniel Heiman. If you want to hear a GUY sing this high and even higher AND with even more power (somehow), definitely check him out. Lost Horizon-Highlander(The One) or Lost Horizon-Lost In The Depths Of Me. I've been dying to get vocal coaches to react to this guy, he's the biggest technical monster in metal (he's practically legendary, noone can even cover his "easier" songs) and a lot of people's unreachable idol, including Brittney, yet outside of a small community, he's completely unknown. Please help change that!!

So ..wellshe has both the bottom and highs in her voice...Talk about an alto with benefits...:) For me its her, Floor Jansen from Nightwish and Noora from Battle Beast who is the now living best female metal singers in the world... If you have not yet checked out BattleBeast you should. Their female singer Noora sounds like Ann Wilson from Heart with som added grit..You absolutely should check them out. You would definitely need to react ASAP to Yannis Papadopoulos of Beast in Black. Absolutely phenomenal singer! One of the greatest if not THE greatest sounds of the metal scene currently. Blind and frozen is a no-brainer starter, but there is SO much more content to react to.. From hell with love, Die by the blade, No surrender.. take a pick, you won't be disappointed!

There was a vocal coach in Vancouver that did a reaction to UTA yesterday. He didn't know about them and he lives in their hometown...

If you reach out to Brittney Slayes on her socials, there's a good chance she will do an online interview with you. She's an amazing down to earth person. She's really the girl next door everyone likes.

I agree with "Northwest Passage" being a good one to see you listen to. As well as Falling In Reverse - "The Drug In Me Is Reimagined"

I agree with others Brittany is a real down to earth person and has done a few video reactions of her own and has done a number of interviews with other reactors in this metal community on youtube. I bet if you reached out to her she would come on, which would be another first for your channel. I think it would be really cool to hear you and her talk about vocals, her approach to vocals, warming up, techniques, her metal rock star persona, stage presence, studio work. I believe she has some classical training as well. You could get a good 15 to 20 min video.
