AFGHANISTAN: God Faithfully Protects His Children

In 2021, as the US prepared to withdraw its military presence from the country, radical Islamist Taliban forces swept across Afghanistan. Many Christians-especially those publicly known to follow Jesus-needed to flee the country or risk immediate execution.
Charmaine Hedding, president of The Shai Fund, has worked to help persecuted believers around the world since 2014. When Christians needed help getting out of Afghanistan, she and a committed team quickly stepped forward to help. They arranged flights, helped Afghan Christians hide and get to the airport, and helped find nations willing to accept them as refugees. They worked around the clock to help Afghan believers.
Listen as Charmaine shares how she became involved in helping persecuted Christians, first-hand stories of the hardships Afghans faced, and God’s faithfulness to answer prayer amidst the chaos and upheaval of the Taliban takeover.
She will also share specific ways we can continue to pray for our Afghan brothers and sisters in Christ-both those still living in Afghanistan and those who have relocated to surrounding Islamic Nations.

Your sons and daughters will prophecy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. Joel 2:28-29 Muslims in the Middle East are having dreams and visions of the Lord Jesus Christ 🙏. Once a person becomes born again they are a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old has gone. They receive the Holy Spirit indwelling them as a down-payment of heaven. They are baptised for the remission of their sins. The Holy Spirit is the Counsellor who guides believers into all truth. I don’t live in Afghanistan. But I’ve heard their stories. And seen what they go through. How they manage is nothing short of amazing. We spent tax dollars on a useless war. Endangering innocent lives. And yet these people have always lived in a different setting. My hope is that more lives in Afghanistan become converted to the Gospel. And that Jesus is praised throughout the whole country.

Afghanistan is a land of Islam Jesus Christ may peace be upon him is a Prophet every Afghan believes in it is the Missionaries who are not well comed because they are teaching things that are forbidden in the Quran and in the Bible such as worshiping anybody other then God almighty and associating partners with God,Jesus Christ was a Jewish Messiah a Jewish Prophet and as a Prophet from God he was not God nor does he say anywhere in the Christian Bible he is God if he does i would like to see it.

I have over 35 verses proving that Jesus is Lord God Almighty. Separate flesh from Spirit and you will begin to understand how Jesus spoke.

@z b Jesus has always existed and was never a created being. He had a physical birth two thousand years ago of a Virgin and of the Holy Spirit, thereby He did not inherit the sin nature of Adam. Jesus had dark skin and most likely brown eyes. Jesus's humanity died on the cross. God's Spirit cannot die. Micah 5:2 says that the coming Messiah is "from everlasting." This means that Jesus cannot be a created being. Isaiah 9: 6 clearly calls the coming Messiah the Everlasting Father. Can there be more than one Everlasting Father? Jesus when He was being tempted by Satan, said," It is written, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." Jesus was indeed calling Himself God. Jesus when talking to Nicodemus said," the Son of Man is in Heaven." How could He be in Heaven when He was physically here on earth talking to Nicodemus? Hebrews 1: 8, 9, the Father calls the Son, "God." 1 Timothy 3: 16 tells us that God clothed Himself in humanity. I've got a lot more where those came from.

@z b Jimmy Swagert has another gospel of faith plus works equals salvation nonsense. Micah 5: 2 tells us that the coming Messiah is "from everlasting." This means that Jesus has always existed and was never a created being. I have over 35 verses proving that Jesus is Lord God Almighty.

My faith is my shield that’s why I still trust in Jesus even though I’m struggling to providing for my two autistic children since losing my job over declining the vaccine. I declined the vaccine due to my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, I’m a single mother. I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more hard on me. Every month I don’t know how we are going to make it through. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I was so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I was so ashamed and overwhelmed. I have been put down and mocked by others because of my situation, and choice. BUT because of my faith I KNOW GOD WILL PROVIDE. Even as I face homelessness with two young children seemingly every month! I have faith that God will provide abundantly. He has so far! He has sent strangers to help me. Thank you Jesus thank you Heavenly Father. GOD IS REAL! You just have to believe!

He WILL continue to provide provisions and protection to you and your children. He is faithful. I'm in a similar situation and God has come through in the last hours by other people too and miracles. I will pray for you!! I am also a grandmother of a little grandson with autism.

Heidi Baker said God revealed to her "there is always enough". Write down the things you want or need on a list and date it. Bring your list before God after worship and ask Him from your list. The scripture says "he that asks, receives ". Having asked then you have what you asked for. Begin to thank God for these things that be not as though they were. For each manifestation give thanks and praise. A single mom I know make out a grocery list and asked God and then worshipped God all the day. A Christian brother knocked on her door and when she opened, he had all the groceries she had asked for without knowing she needed them!

I always remember Afghanistan in our prayers for safety, protection, provision, and guidance. Lord your grace and mercy be upon them. I'd like to hear more about the specifics of the origin of the Shai Fund. There weren't a lot of details given as to how she got involved in rescuing persecuted Christians. She said she just went there and started doing it. She didn't say how she started doing or who helped here.

God not only love his children and All women but God has given his word to protect and “fix” Man. Through Islam God create hardcore Real Man to be fearless in battle. Unfortunately the end product can be seen in Afghanistan. How do you repair a warrior who is Willing to die for Allah and is stuck in that mode. Please do not hate Afghanistani men. Pray daily for Christians all over the world who are being persecuted. Salvation is absolutely free and not conditional upon service. Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are for temporal fellowship with God here on earth and for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. For anyone who might be confused: Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

@@aaadit4131it is strange Jesus loves me?what about the people he was sent to?he never loved them as a god did he not know that the people i am going to will reject me and all my Miracles will not change these people how can God almighty after sending Prophets after Prophets to the same people had to come to earth as a Human as his own Son got rejected just in a small span of time 3 years to be exact not just got rejected but got hanged on a tree and then he talks to a guy on his way to Damascus and tells him to do everything opposite of what he told the Children of Israel the greatest commandment of all the first Commandment which he himself gave to the Jews now he is telling some other people it is ok to worship me and two other fellows besides me and not only that he goes a little further and dies on a cross for a people he never knew.

God is one Spirit being eternally present as three distinct centers of consciousness within God (hence the Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). One being, one essence, yet three distinct persons. As persons each is definitely not either of the other two. However, let's be absolutely clear here, as one Spirit being, we can definitely say that the Father is the Son is the Holy Spirit. Jesus name means Jehovah saviour or Yahweh saves. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Separate flesh from Spirit and you will begin to understand how Jesus spoke. I have over 35 verses proving that Jesus is Lord God Almighty.

if God was eternally present in three distinct persons how is it that Paul is the only one who said something about it how is it that Jesus Christ being God never said this to anyone in his 3 years of preaching how is it that God after Billions of Years decided to come to earth for the first and the last time only created confusion for some people hen the bible tells us GOd is not the author of confusion.

When Jesus was talking to Nicodemus, He said, "the Son of Man is in Heaven." How could He be in Heaven, when He was physically here on earth? In Revelations Jesus is talking to John, He said," I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end." Those are qualities only God has.
