Go back and listen to the original intro - just the guitar work. Their voices are replicating that section just like VioLayne replicates the crescendo. I had not *really* listened to it before other than “oh yeah, that was that song by Metallica” because I’m not a metal fan. I did go out to listen to the original a couple of times and, possibly because it was new to me, I did recognize that they were imitating the guitar work. Great cover of a great song that I missed out on with the original ( but it’s on a playlist now😊!). ( They just dropped another one - Seven Nation Army🤯)

Voiceplay always brings it when rock songs are involved. Great reaction. You should check out The Warning w/Alessia Cara re-imagined rendition of Enter Sandman. It's the 1st track on Metallica's Blacklist Album.

The violin is a prop just used for the video (and previously for _Warriors)_ - apparently it has a really poor sound, but looks cool. I'm guessing that's why they're happy to throw it around! The nickname Violayne seems to have stuck now. As for the overall song, this is such a great arrangement and performance. And I'm glad the baby takes priority, that's how it should be!

Yep. Layne used his personal violin to record the violin track. That's why it sounded so good. Concert Quality Violin played by a Concert Quality Violinist. Also, from what I understand, no one actually threw the violin to Layne. That shot was actually Layne throwing the violin away and they just reversed the shot so it looked like someone threw it to him. Which is impressive when you think about it because that means Layne had to start the shot holding the violin in the ready position, then run the motion backwards to throw it so that when the shot was reversed, it would look right.

Have to throw it out. I love their outfits. Even though they're all in Black (except for Eli's white soled shoes), they show different personalities just like their voices, it just shows that you can still be true to yourself and there will always be a place you fit in, even with the white soled shoes. (Sorry if that doesn't make sense) I'm glad they waited for J None to do this song. Looking forward to your next reaction.

Go back and listen to the original - it has an instrumental introduction about 1 minute long that they stay pretty true to ... and this isn't really slowed down (this was one of their more contemplative works).

Just tell the kid to shut up!! That's what I did and my boys are both in their 40's and they still don't talk to me. These guys are good fer sure, but I would love to hear Pentatonix with current voices and have Avi as the guest voice. P.S. For those that think I am the worst possible, that first line was a joke. I have two boys in their 40's. they're just fine.

No offence but if you could only slightly hear it by then you need to listen to it again, it's very close to how the intro actually sounds (clean guitar part).

We have grown to love Voiceplay, but we only react to what we are sent. We don't claim to be vocal experts or anything of the sort. Our reactions may not be for you friend. Nothing wrong with that, but just because we don't pinpoint certain sounds you do doesn't mean we aren't fans. We would never claim we are bigger fans than the people who requested us to listen to this or those that watch reactions to them as you have to be a diehard fan of them for that, but we are fans of them and have enjoyed everything we've listened to by them. I believe you are referring to Geoff doing his thing. I'm really not 100% sure though.
