The DMV's Own Mya is celebrating the 20th year anniversary (Yes, 20 years) of her debut album with her 13th project and 9th studio album TKO (The Knockout). If you love 90's R&B and mixture of other sounds, Mya may have just given you your soundtrack for the spring and summer. So in the latest episode of "Voices," Mya talks about what she has learned in her 20 years in the music business. She tells us how it felt to receive a Grammy Award nomination for her last album "Smoove Jones."
We also find out if she would ever wear the jersey dress from the 2000 video "Best Of Me Remix" featuring Jay-Z.

I would love to see her do an album or some songs that are out of her element. She's always guarded. That's why she seems familiar. I know women like her who are very guarded. Nobody gets in. Damm Libras!!!

Mya is not even Puerto Rican she's half black American and her other parent is ITALIAN. She's biracial and by the way Puerto Rican is not a race and not her culture.

By the way I'm from Arizona where I've seem plenty of ugly WHITE Puerto Ricans, ugly mixed Puerto Ricans and basic looking Black Puerto Ricans. And at least Mya can sing and dance, while J Lo the racist hoe was never as strong of a vocalist. AND your other fake star Ricky Martin that goofy WHITE Puerto Rican gay boy fizzled out. Nobody wants to hear about a male shaking his ass like a female.
