For the past seven years, Berkana has been conducting video oral history interviews with elderly African American residents of Delaware to capture and preserve Delaware Black History. The oral histories recount early life experiences in Delaware, sharing not only personal challenges but also resilience in overcoming and succeeding in segregated Delaware.
