I hate centipedes

Insects freak me out but somehow giant centipedes are less creepy than actual centipedes. What a good boy, he just wants his pumpkin :).

Mine is the exact opposite. Im fine with insects, i see cockroaches and centipedes almost every day. But throw me next to a Giant Frostbite Spider from Skyrim, or Wolfgang here i'd be lightheaded from the amount of sweat and fear.

Same. The bigger they are, the less creepy they are even if they're technically a bigger threat. They're no different to me than lobsters or crabs, any crustacean really which also have shelled exoskeletons. It's like a bell curve, where 'tiny ant-sized'=Not Creepy // 'Medium'=Creepy // 'Up to gigantic'=Not creepy again.

Fun fact! Centipedes aren’t insects! They’re known as Chilopodas ( lip foot ) What defines a insect is the presence of 3 defined body segments, 3 legs each side, and the optional 1-2 sets of wings. A more accurate term would be arthropod. :] Also, always the best way to conquer a fear is to learn about the species you’re scared of! Another fun fact : In most species of centipede, the mothers take care of their young through coiling around and grooming them! She will starve herself so her babies have a chance of making it. :}

The game is pretty big and there's a ton of items. For all we know, throwing a chicken burger the anti-breather will cause an event. Just so many possibilities in this game and ways to trigger events.

He spawned on my first playthrough at day 7-8 - I was going from main room to the corridor and he was standing there! I got terrified, spend a little time sitting and waiting, then got the idea to sleep over this event - that's when I found out he wasn't just in the corridor - he covered the entire space from the entrance to the shower. That's all what he did - just stood there, menacingly! And it's that passivity that scared me the most - I was so scared that if I get close to his face he will attack I alf+f4'ed the game.

suggestion for wolfgang to go o your base and make it his home, you will hear him walking around at all times in the base and occasionally he will come out of holes in the roof and floor to chase you down to trip you, he will also take any food items on the ground and will 'not' invade your bedroom totally :)

wolfgang should be able to be tethered by the hook like a leash so you can take him to the base to be a little goober you can keep around the base :)
