Huh, first time i seen the tentacle balls be hostile. If you walk up to them they just grab you, look at you for a bit then drop you and leave. Maybe hiding makes them think you are what they are looking for.

I've heard that if you attempt to look away while they are "scanning" you, that is something that makes them hostile but I am unsure. I'd assume they are automatically hostile if the player is considered to be "resisting", whether by being spotted in an unreachable spot, or by attempting to flee when knocked down.

If they notice you, there is a short time where they are attempting to reach you. If that time runs out, and they fail to interact with you, they will turn hostile towards you.

actually.. first the shiny orbs appear. those that rip your limbs off. a big pyramid comes to clean it up. guessing they accidently lost. afterwards the scouts come to see if they were missing any or if there was any witnesses and if you win the staring contest. they let you go for some reason

Not true, Arirals and Rozitals are completely different species, with Rozitals being far more advanced. The Rozitals sent that as a warning to the Arirals to watch out for the Wisps.

17:33 that is something called an orphan source sometimes they are the core of long lost rtg's scrappers will sometimes break the lost rtg's apart and end up spreading highly radioactive material everywhere if you do end up finding one you can know for sure by a circle of dead grass around the object or however unlikely a animal carcass nearby as it produces heat and sometimes animals may use the object for warmth and end up ending themselves with it. i would recommend using a hazmat suit when dealing with it and to move the canister far away from you ... put it in the basement

Radioactive capsule giving you radiation poisoning when you're nearby without a hazmat suit: rufus/thiccfus killing you when he can easily be felled by a gas can: the orbs having a VERY CLEAR WARNING to NOT engage. the Rozital Orbs™ are clearly looking for something as they search the entire space, which might be any more of those orb thingies, if you're hiding from them or resisting inspection, they eliminate you. the mushrooms that damage you have a clear indication that you're being damaged by a red vignette appearing for a second. and you OBVIOUSLY drown in water.

You need to make sure the hook lands on the top of the vent, otherwise you don't get enough height to climb over it.

Hey, great video! Question - what's that bar with a red dot that appears when you ride an ATV? Edit: also, what is that "new signal added in glossary" and "signal glossary entry complete"? I've never seen this message before.

The red dot is a beacon that I placed at the green box. It's essentially a radar for the ATV. The signal glossary notifications can be enabled in the settings, they tell you whenever you get a new signal that you haven't gotten before. The glossary can be accessed from the stats page in the pause menu.

The game doesn't have an ending, it's just that the events stop. And these events trigger randomly after some 20+ in-game days , so just play normally and eventually you'll trigger them.

Thinking about it... the pyramid seems to be in similar aesthetic to the golden spike that fell down from the sky before the glowing suns arrived. It could be that it was trying to warn you how to avoid them before it could arrive to put an end to this threat. Perhaps these pyramids are benevolent?

This is 100% vanilla gameplay. This game is a very slow-burn until anything interesting happens. So keep playing the game and you might run across events even I didn't experience!

I think it works similar to Minecraft's Optifine or Half Life / Gmod's zoom feature. There is a button for it somewhere on your keyboard, you can probably check the settings. Personally, I rebound it to one of my mouse's side buttons so it's easier to reach, same with my Alt key.

Nope, this is the regular story mode. Infinity mode doesn't contain these story-related events.
