Food mechanics are meh in my opinion. Just keep food in the fridge, and when you need to eat just microwave it and eat it. The mold and shit on the walls, yeah I can understand, the dev is teasing what looks like a cleaning update on Twitter though.

A trick some of my friends found, is that you can move the bucket with the sponge still in it and it'll clean surfaces. Mostly just floors, they think

First the shovel gets consumed by the Backrooms, and now the one singular glowstick.

Yep, quite the peculiar bug. It's weird though, to some it doesn't happen, I wonder if it's related to the fact I'm playing on low/mid settings. But we can say it's in the lore and the roof is just crumbling and leaking.

On the other hand, I enjoy cleaning the base. You get some cash by sending out full garbage bags using the item box, and also it adds something to do during downtime.

@@artasky6093 takes a little money to get started. Cause like 10 for the box which can only be sent 1 at a time. Then the garbage bag rolls to pick it all up and stash it in the box. You can also "compact" small types of rubbish and such into compacted scrap bundles to sell back also. Which includes wood scraps from objects you break open or trash from finished food. So pretty nice starting bonus. Same if you collect it all out of the transformer rooms too.

Yeah, I don't get it either. You either can get rid of the eyesore by just polluting the river (doesn't solve the problem though), or you can use these in tandem with the new garbage bags that can be bought for 3 credits. But, the garbage bags only hold _one_ clump (?) of garbage, and I don't know whether you can throw them in the bins because it broke almost instantly. Will have to try it later now that I have downloaded the patch, maybe the garbage bags will hold for more than 3 seconds.

Apparently you can make some money by selling full trash bags with the new item box. Haven’t tested it myself but there’s a post online detailing it❤

​​@@PovilazYeah, you gently put them in the garbage bins. Just be careful to not use the garbage bin or it will spit out the trash bag and it will fall and break on impact with the ground😅. As a side note it took me 150 garbage bags to get rid of all the trash clumps inside the base, but then I lost the only cleaning sponge I had behind the power box and had to reset the events and objects which restored all the trash :(. (PS: the sponges on the store cannot actually clean😢, at least on version 0.6.2 before the hotfix)

Yeah, the first minute is laggy because it re-renders some icons, I think.

I believe all food slowly loses how much it feeds you if you don't keep them in the fridge.

It actually happens even when I microwave them

@@tfj-kp2wd I think you also need to eat different food and not constantly the same food, as in your character gets bored of eating the same food. It's something related to food tolerance in the new update.

Sounded like a high pitched ring, like a doorbell... but you don't have a doorbell on the base, so they knock instead.
