On May 2nd 2011 in the Concert Hall of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Voices of Birralee staged the finale concert of Pemulwuy! 2011, a National Male Voice Festival. Over 500 male voices joined in song. Thanks to all the singers, composers, conductors, support staff and sponsors for their work in making Pemulwuy! 2011 a triumph of Australian choral music. Stay tuned... Rumour has it, a DVD may be available soon!

Fantastic! I wrote this song for the wonderful Woden Valley youth Choir back in 2005. Thanks Alpha Gregory for the commission. Since then, the legacy of Pemulwuy has grown, thanks to all of you who sing and support this music. Pemulwuy should be recognised as one of the most important people in Australian history. He should be taught in all schools and remembered by all Australians. My respect goes to the Bidjigal People, the plain dwellers of the Cooks and Georges River. Paul Jarman

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Kiver this weekend as a part of the all-catholic chorus. We performed this piece as the finale, and it was amazing. That man is the most talented conducter i have ever met

performing this piece in exactly 2 weeks at Eden Court in Inverness with the Highland Youth Choir of Scotland, can't wait, it's so beautifully written and the lyrics are just wonderful in the way that they tell a story. Soo EXCITED!!!!!!!! :) big love to my conductor Christopher Josie
