I haven't watch MCD for a long time but I am pretty sure Laurance in this timeline has already been a shadow knight because this Laurence is from season 1 as it was explained by himself he was just in the war when he got knockout and he become a a Shadow knight way before that happened And Zane is not a Shadow knight in season 1 he become one in season 3
