Thanks! It’s definitely worth checking out! However I’m considering selling mine since I enjoy the WR and AF from my Fuji 27mm + this is taking up too much of my lens budget 🤣 I’ll check out a more budget option next time- just ordered a kamlan 28mm f1.4 for $80 👀

@@AndrewTakahashi I guess one option is to use one of the AF lenses with faster mortors. If you go in settings and set AF turning to linear (default is nonlinear where how far it moves depends on speed) that's still fairly reasonable.

That’s a good point! It’s helpful for traditional street photography zone focusing (at f8) but for any wider aperture, I’d use the Fuji’s manual focus assist. I usually use the FOCUS PEAK HIGHLIGHT RED(HIGH) setting on my X-T5. The throw is pretty long for such a compact lens, but it’s not a full 180 deg - it looks closer to 135 to me

The lens has contacts so you can use a digital scale aswell

The lack of WR is really my biggest gripe with the lens 😒 Luckily it does appear to resolve the full 40mp sensor. But tbh I haven’t done extensive testing, it just looks slightly sharper than the Fuji 27mm

Honestly I’m considering selling the lens because of that. I just used it for a vacation and the images were great, but it’s only one stop faster than my Fuji 27 that has AF and WR. I just ordered a kamlan 28mm f1.4 ($80) tho so I’ll see if that’s a better fit.

I personally had the Kamlan and now i've the voigtlander. My feeling is that the second one is much more fun to shoot with. IQ doesn't justify the price différence though. I'm debating whether to get the Big viltrox to get AF and top sharpness on this focal lenth

The voigtlander has good micro contrast, but I’ll be honest - I can’t definitely say it’s better than the Fujifilm lens. I’ve only used the Fuji lens with a pro mist filter, so it’s not a fair comparison (the pro mist reduces contrast).
