Before Volbeat, Michael Poulsen was dabbling in death metal with his band Dominus. They released a string of albums and EPs during their decade-long run from 1991 to 2001. This year Volbeat's frontman Michael Poulsen has formed a new death metal band called 'Asinhell'. The trio has announced its first album, titled Impii Hora, along with unveiling its first single, 'Fall of the Loyal Warrior'. However, he doesn't do the vocals on this one.

I'm utterly shocked there are no comments here other than mine. Volbeat reactions usually get a lot more attention. I wonder if others are having trouble with the comment section the same as I was this morning.

I've now tried 3 times to link a live video of the Volbeat song, Warrior's Call, but it keeps disappearing. So... if you search live at Wacken you'll find it. It's the one with the most views. I think there are only 2 to choose from.
