I met the guitarist Rob at a metallica show on July 12th, 2017. that dude is so fucking cool and awesome. I first met him before the show when I was standing at the floor seat and it so happens that the guy was standing next to me. we talked to an hour before the show began and we were becoming friends like that. after the show, Rob and my friends and me went to a bar near the arena and talked for hours about life and we both play guitar and I'm in a band so we were talking about band shit and stuff. it wasn't until Rob called his whole crew to the restraunt when one of my friends recognizes the lead singer for volbeat and we slowly realized that Rob plays for volbeat!XD I met the whole band and they were all really nice guys as well. now looking at their songs, I am grateful that I met these guys sooner because they are going to blow up these next few years.

I love a comments read! I have been listening to volbeat for around a couple of years and its heart warming to see they relate to others as they do too me. We are have our challenges and crosses to bear, but seeing a connecting within music and the vibes you get from it can change so much. Love Volbeat I find some of music so healing.

This was one of the handful of songs they played when they performed at LouderThanLife in Louisville a few weeks ago, and they sound even better live than in recording. This is by far one of my favorite songs by them, barring to Still Counting and their Don't Tread on Me cover.

this is funny because I'm 45 and grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada and was always listening to my parents 50's and 60's rock and then eventually listened to pretty much everything......I was surfing for something a bit different and came across VOLBEAT and this song, which is absolutely awesome....so naturally I checked out other music from this band....well needless to say I am hooked.....:)

I went through one of the roughest times in my life in the last two years. Abandoned by all my friends, lost the love of my life as my mental health collapsed. I saw Volbeat open for Metallica in Philadelphia in 2017. I hadn't really heard of them before that. But they did something I thought was really cool. Avenged Sevenfold couldn't play that night because one of their wives had just given birth to a baby. So Volbeat played an extended set. They were really good too.
