The first model of the iconic Corgi Beetle was presented in luxury packaging complete with a plastic rhinoceros charging at a rally car. The model sold 760,000 copies. Equipped with many functions, it had an opening trunk and hood. The Volkswagen could be steered using a spare wheel mounted on the roof. My model had damaged roof controls and was missing tires and a rhino. I completed the missing items to get a complete set. The model has decals from the East Africa Rally. Introduced to the market in 1965, the model remained in the Corgi offer until 1968. Two years later, Corgi used the same casting in a police version (Corgi 492), which cleverly used the spare wheel hole in the roof as an emergency light. Maestro! A superlative restoration!! You found the Rhinocerous!! I had no inkling of the mechanical system inside the car, which was very fiddly and complicated. You squared it away with great care and precision. The bumper repairs were flawless, and your prep and paint were first rate!! The decal softener solution really does a great job making the decals mold to the raised casting details. Your box selection and fabrication are the best there is on You-Tube...or anywhere else for that matter!! This finshed model and box are a joy to behold!! Maestro!!❤❤😂😊

Perfekte Restaurierung die den Käfer direkt befähigt wieder auf Safari zu gehen. Wahrscheinlich führt sie in eine Ausstellungsvitrine. Ein tolles Set und nun wieder komplett bis hin zur Verpackung. Gruß, Joachim Doskonała renowacja, która umożliwi chrząszczowi ponowne wybranie się na safari. Prawdopodobnie prowadzi to do gabloty wystawowej. Świetny zestaw, teraz znowu kompletny, aż do opakowania. Pozdrawiam, Joachim

Top class resto as always paul I restored one of these a few years ago you should join the corgi model club they are reproducing a lot of 1960s corgis including the safari beetle which is a top class replica you can hardly tell the difference well worthv every penny

muzyczkę oddaje tylko wybranych fragmentach, kiedy nie ma normalnych odgłosów, A to dlatego że mam dosyć dużą ograniczoną możliwość wyboru muzyki ponieważ korzystam tylko z biblioteki KZfaq, która jest tak zwaną darmową biblioteką. Pozdrawiam
