It works, thank you. You just need to insert any casette to make the radio think it can play music through it.

So every time you want to switch between aux and radio you need to insert cassete? Would be easier if you just remove the cassete drive and insert a switch to trigger aux input...

the cassette's nevend is aux. when the tape is activated aux. that we get the signal there. aux

You are right, those are all the questions of what is missing from the video, loosening the cassette screws don't do any thing and therefore it wouldn't work! But if you take an actual cassette and remove the tape from the reals, when you put it in the player its mechanism detects a cassette has been pushed in and then the aux wire would work when you soldier it onto the circuit board.

do so. try. connect. the feet of eeprom. pin 5 even 6 together. if you do not have sukses. then connector. pin 6 even 7. you will have off protect. success

RepairAllTV that’s great thankyou. I have the gamma unit in a 2006 B5.5 passat. Casette player with 6 disc changer linked to it (also mounted in the dash as standard), i dismantled a spare gamma unit but nothing appeared to be the same as yours. Thanks.
