Thank God i can do most mechanical stuff myself, short of pulling the head or block. Got 151k miles on my 2010,goes 70 miles per day, check your oil, change your filters, every weekend have a look at all fluid levels , tire pressure, etc. Also, they seem to run better if you speak German to them and listen to German music in them. Theyre just homesick 😂. Seriously tho, i attribute my luck to the hour long daily highway drives, everything gets nice and warmed up, no sludge, no idling. Cold drives ruin any car. Idk, maybe i either got lucky or got a good one someone really cared for.

I have one it’s nice but it’s hard to find parts since they stop making them in 2016 Most face book got parts or Mexico pages too that ship cheap for oem parts

I was told by a car dealer to stay away from facelifted versions of cars, because they are way more expensive to fix anything on than the previous version.

Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2013 also, it test drove well but when I had 20 minutes into driving it, and right after I fueled it, I started having issues with it. Check engine light on and either misfire malfunction or engine trouble.

The CC is not worth it. We bought a 2013 used, beautiful luxurious car, built like a tank, but maintenance, finding parts getting to any parts is so much money. This is normal for VW CC because of the scarcity of them and the design of these cars where so much requires disassembly of majority of the car. Had a coolant leak, about a grand roughly to fix it. Parts are hard to source

The CC is a money pit. Stay away from it. I owned one, and it was a nightmare.

I have a CC, everything is expensive & extremely hard to locate. The CC’s are as finicky as a woman & worrisome as an ex gf .. 😢

hmm, im thinking about a 2016 with 52k -really cool car and nicely equipped, but this is giving me thrid thoughts....it might be differnet if the used car prices weren't so ridiculous, but the car listed for 1k more than they are asking 3+ years ago!

I bought a 2013 VW CC Sport Plus (26k miles) from Avis car rental. After the orig. warr. ended, I got misfires on cyl. 3; $1000 and a new fuel injector! Now the water pump leaks and most mechs. want $2500 to replace a water pump! (They have to remove the entire manifold just to get to the pump!) I used Bar's Stop Leak and it seems to have stopped the leak, but in the interim it clogged the heater core! This weekend I flushed the heater core and now my heat is back! They carbon buildup has to be cleaned out every 50k miles too! (Major work) I have 105k miles on it now... I'd NEVER get another German car because they're WAY too difficult to work on! No radiator caps or drain plugs, sealed transmission, so replacing the fluid isn't an easy job. Looking for an easy to work on car, like my old 1970 Chevy Nova!

Cc is a great car, you just had bad luck with buying damaged vehicles, i also think for you its not helping living not in the eu like me.

I love VWs myself, but they are absolutely trash! If not taken care of properly. Also, anything over 70-80k miles you're in for a treat lol. Nice car though 🤙🏾

They can be good cars if you can find a clean one, especially the vr6 4 motion those are reliable. In this case you got a bad example. But the parts will be expensive comparatively to a Toyota I mean it's a 13 year old German car, to be expected.

He just bought the wrong car, theres money to be made in salvage cars.
