The all new VW Golf 8 comes with optional IQ. Lights. They are Matrix LED lights and in dark this is how they perform.
Impressive amount of light and for sure my recommendation if you buy this car.

Yes, especially asphalt on the road.... and sides a little bit. But what about further distance? You must buy another VAG such Passat/A4/A6 to have distant real matrix visibility.

@@wiseman9395 well consumption is around 5,5 litres so not many fuel stops in this one, but would rather use some proper hot-hatch or my MINI Cooper which has a lot of potential on twisty roads :)

rear interior ceiling lights in my golf like that on the video, keep flashing on and off whilst im driving and wont turn off permanently !!! how to fix the problem???

Red reflectors like 2:16 flick my auto high beams (basic not matrix) off and it's infuriating when they're all along a couple dark 80 zones. If anyone has a fix via obdeleven please let me know

crospotter13 I like to be the first. I know how it feels doing all of this. It is hard work because I have a KZfaq channel where I do car news and reviews and it is hard because all you can do is wait for the news to come in and I can’t properly review cars yet because I only have 24 subscribers and I can’t drive yet because I’m under age. I would add them if you do a lot of driving during the night outisde the city? Here is an example of Seat Leon with LED lights (that are not as good as IQ Matrix LED but are still ok): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iql0obentsjVias.html

also I think on the R-Line with IQ Matrix LED you get the light bar on the front :)

@@crospotter13 i’ve I.Q Leds on my R-Line but it doesn’t have sequential turn signals or light bar on front. 2021 model.

When using these Lights, can you manually put them on full beam? Or is it totally controlled by the technology?

you can select between auto and manual mode and you can take over from auto if its not working and is blinding someone

How do you check how many mileage the vehicle has done can't seem to find it on my..

Tbh I also didn’t manage to find it. What I did see is that when you turn it off the total miles appear on the digital cockpit..

I might be wrong but it feels a bit like VW are cutting costs in lots of small ways, hoping the customer doesn’t notice because they are distracted by the new technology.

Ça éclaire bien large en plein phares mais pas assez loin je trouve , on voit nettement le halo de lumière se concentrer une trentaine de mètres devant la voiture.

I don't see the point of having such a light show. When stopped, you barely see anything. Then it gradually opens up with speed. Useless. Why not show the full light from beginning. and it seemed like you didnt know what was happening yourself either, with blinking high beams on and off, when the conditions were so that high beams could have been on all the time. wow.. hard to say if this is a useful featuer at all..

You can have high beams all the time as well, those were automatic high beams

@@crospotter13 yes sir, understood. But it emphasizes my point. Anyways, I need to watch this again with more time to see what's really happening 😄. I still do believe these things are "over engineered".
