Simon I bought a Mk4 5 door TDI 150 model last year with two lady owners garages from new with 58,900 on the clock with full dealer history. She was having knees replaced and so needed an automatic. I saw advert in Chard where both owners were from. The car has AC elec roof etc all nice immaculate external condition. 2k I called and was told a trader had just called and would be coming tomorrow. I convenience her I could come today and offer £200 over went down there and could not believe my eyes. She was very emotional saying good bye and I was very emotional saying hi! 😂 it’s now done 65k and worth double what I paid. Have a company car but when I want to have fun I use the golf. Really well built reliable engine and great all rounder

No wonder I haven't bought one yet, this looks as dull as dish water and acceleration is slower than the MK2 Golf GTi I had at the time. However the one I am supposed to be getting soon is considerably faster than even my current BMW 330CD. I'm not asking any questions, then I can't tell any lies as I know very little about diesel golfs. I drove it and said I'd buy it if he ever sells it, that's all I know.

When someone is following you too close you hit the evry mod switch and dump the car in 3rd or 4th and it should haze/black out anyone that's too close. Some people use their powers for good/evil. Or their injection pump timing is off.

Just like to make a mention that if you look at it in the sense of fumes per mpg then you are indeed saving the inviroment. these cars make a whole 50+ yes a 50+ mpg rating VS. a Gas which makes maybe into the 35 ish mpg mark. I've personally made 55+ somewhere in there. GO TURBO DIESELS!!!!!! keep rolling that coal!
