I've driven a 181 passat R line and I have to say it's a very nice place to be...... the 2.0 diesel has enough get up and go too , with larger cabin space and superb design...honestly I'm very much considering buying one.

I think for an mid-size car, it lacked a bit of whimsy in the trunk lid. A cover for the hinges and protection not to crumple the luggage would be very helpful. Nevertheless it's a good car. Unfortunately in Brazil it's a car with a huge price...

NOT reliable, just like most VAG cars. They dont rate highly in reliability surveys.

Abraham Farrell I had a VW Passat 2015 which broke on 30 000km,i came to dealer,they said that its ok,later it broke again,electronics didnt work too...On that day,i said to myself,that i never will buy a VW again,why are you defending a VW?Each of their cars are problems,problems and problems.

JustLucky Your problem wasn't VW, It was your dealer. These are man made machines. You can have one out of the batch that's defective. That where a proper dealer is important. It sounds to me that you had a bad dealer. The car company will do anything for a customer to avoid bad press. It's not that I'm defending VW. If I'm using a product and am more than satisfied with it, am not going to complain about it. You are not the only person who bought a car and had problems with it. Every car manufacturer have had that problem. If you decide that you would never buy a VW product again, that fine but you should not just be on the internet making the kind of comments you've been making because it's simply not fair. My advise to you is to address your problem to VW themselves, especially at this time ( with their diesel scandal) and I"m sure they'll try to help you.
