Such a beautiful car

I've got one of these in black. This blue is the best colour though, I'd say. I've had the car nearly 4 years now and absolutely love it. It's been totally reliable so far. I enjoy the rarity of it. Nobody knows what it is....other than a passat. That suits me. Recommended! ( if you can find one)

I just purchased the Blue Passat R36 (166.000 kilometres on the clock) from my taxi owner. I have an old dirty Ford Falcon Station with dull white, scratches and dents but taking me from A to B in acceptable comfort and reliable. I hope I won't miss the Falcon's large cargo space. However from 2008 his R36 looks like from the showroom and I could not let go on this deal. I sure hope the Passat will be as reliable as my Falcon because I still need to go from A to B. Friday he will take my Falcon and I will take his Passat. I have never owned a VW before. However I am much more a (model)train lover rather than a car lover. See how we go, Cheers, Jan, Australia.

What an era. Volkswagen used to make some really nice sedans to compete against the luxury euro market. I miss the days when Volkswagen would step in to Audi territory with the Passat and Touareg.

so beautifull and sounds so good, too bad it's not faster then it is, the sound dont match the go imo. same goes for the r32, i have that engine but tuned the shit out of it, wanted to keep it N/A, costed me a shitload of money but now its decent fast tho.

So are these 3.6 liter petrol engines V6 or VR6 engines? ive seen them called both.
