I came to this video because of wanting to replace the broken front speaker but got turned down by all those tools it needs. I wonder how much does it cost if you had someone remove the door card for you in your region. In my place a garage would charge me at most $30 for all the replacement, guess I'm happy to spend that money to avoid all those hassles. Still, very useful tutorial. Thumbs up to that 👍

The door handle is like the most creaky thing in the universe. There is absolutely no creaks inside the scirocco but the damn door handle. I plan to insulate it somehow to not drive me mad with those sounds.

Hi, Hope you are still replying to these videos, I have just followed your tutorial... thanks for this, however i am having an issue with my passenger side, i have replaced the door car, however when i come to pen the door from the outside the window wont automatically go down, untill the door actually moves.. it used to go down when the handle was pulled... did you have the same issue? or do you know a fix for this? or any idea what it would be? thanks.

what is the max. depth the door speakers can handle? i plan on upgrading my speakers in my 2011 scirocco, but it would be a shame if the speakers are too deep

that big black piece against the door secure by 14, 10mm bolt is it made of plastic? im planning to weight reduction my door. is the door card itself heavy?

I need to change the Bowden cable as my inside passenger side handle has stopped working. Does a new one just clip in?

@fl4me with A 4 thanks for the video, this helped me remove the door caed off the scirocco, after an unfortunatre incident of me being an absolute idiot and ripping clean off the passenger wing mirror when driving through a narrow road at speed. But now I am having trouble trying to put the door card back on the scirocco door! i tried to reverse the steps taken - managed to place the top bit into place by the window sill sealing and the mounting near the wing mirror. but i have no idea how to snap the spring clips on bottom half of the door back into the openings of the door card. can anyone help on this? the clips themselves are circular and huge in circumference, and cant figure out how to fix them back on.

You mention everything but access to mirror removal. Have to take door card off to get to the mirror screws should you need to change Good vid tho
