This is not the time to buy one. We are uncertain about VWs plan for India. Even if they continue, Taigun is 3 years old and needed a good update. Apart form this the interiors are so poor! People who talk about interior forget that part of the safety is with the driver, even if you get more than 5 stars! BUT interiors are something you connect with every minute. Drivability of GT DSG is unmatched, no doubt, but that is the end of it. Nothing much.

Wow....every word is correct in this reviewand i can link to his feelings; may be because we are from almost same place. Have a creta that is my wife's favorite and i always will swear by my kushaq 1.0 AT. The feeling and enjoyment that the VW and skoda cars give are entirely diff than the koreans. The comfort for 4 people is miles ahead of creta, but creta is spacious inside like a different segment vehicle with white interiors and panoramic roof. Be it whatever it might be, i always go by the kushaq for chennai trips from tirunelveli.

This car is an absolute delight. People has to come out of cost factor, bcoz this car is having so many technology that too for safety alone which includes electronic slip differential lock, multi collision braking, brake disc wipe, motor slip regulation over and above abs , esc, traction control and all. For cars like fortuner and Innova, people buying inspite of high cost and always talk about +ve things like engine reliability and comfort, but not with cost or interior features. Here people mention about interior plastics and rear camera inspite of excellent ride and handling, braking and performance. I am a frequent high way rider. Ride and handling plays a very very big role here as we need to suddenly change the lanes and apply brakes without losing control while driving at 120 kmph due to unexpected animal crossings, sudden lane change of front vehicles which is very common now a days. ADAS and other stuffs are just gimmicks for Indian roads.

10:43 we are watching MW only for your advice regarding to ride, cornering, stability etc., General advice -lot of people are there, don't drop/stop your style of delivery....

Good review. One request. Better to reduce technical terms as much as possible and use common terms that anybody can understand. Reviewers may know many things technically but common people might not understand . For example instead of " dechrome" can say chrome removed or something. Same way in TC transmission " viscous coupling" which many might not understand .

I think the engine and the transmission has a bond like a marriage, the way the engineers achieve it is incredible. I remember test driving a 2023 m340i petrol, which had an awesome torque convert far better than any transmission in the same league. The C63 from Merc also engineered something as well. So mating NA engine with torque convertor is something not new. Its all about engineering. The marriage.

@motowagon team have question these engines are far better in performance 1 lyr engine produces 113 power but how ever the old cars 1.6 tdi delivered the same.
