this is an edited video of the once originally posted crappy realplayer preview version of Arcadi Volodos playing this. I spend days to put another audio recording under this video and edit it in the way to fit approximately to the video, because the original was totally out of sync and very bad in sound.
this is one of my most favourite videos and interpretations of Volodos of all time. I absolutely don't understand why sony never published the original in high quality. this is absolutely fantastic.
the only reason i post this is for historic reasons.... this must never be forgotten. enjoy. i will take this down at all time, but hope that Volodos or sony will finally release the original!! Enjoy!

I cannot understand why this hasn't been issued commercially. It is astonishing on every level, something I sent to people all the time in its original (crappy) version. THANK YOU for the work you put into this.

Are you kidding me?! I never knew that a video of this existed! Do you have access to the entire recital? Thank you so much for the work you've done here! Unfortunately, I doubt that Volodos will ever release this recording, because he has said on multiple occasions that he regrets that early period of his career and being associated with these flashy transcriptions.

Hi, well the entire recital is released on Audio CD, the Carnegie Hall one. However there have been several audio recordings over past 20 years of this piece. I used to have 3 different ones. Unfortunately I don't have those anymore and can't find them on the internet anywhere anymore. i had this video posted here on youtube several years ago under a different account but i deleted the account. yesterday i felt like opening a new one, cause i found a backup of this video which i seriously edited with uncountable hours. i did like houndreds of little time-shifts in the audio file with pro audio software to adjust it almost unhearable to the video.... this original video you may find somewhere, but the sound and sync are really bad.

His Turkish March video is from the same recital. We need to break into Carnegie Hall and get that tape!

@@masterofsynapsis Along with any other tapes of him! I am sure that some of his Verbier Festival recitals have been recorded, as well as the recital from the Giovine Orchestra Genovese series, from which a few clips you have on your channel.
