When you said 600 people subscribed I thought "no way, he has thousands doesn't he?" and had to check. This series has been super motivating for me. I got back into Kovaaks recently doing 3 hours a day. I'm 32 years old pretty washed up bronze aiming but i will get there. Grats on GM.

@@SilkyCrisp Yea I split it into 2 routine sessions that take roughly 1.5 hours. been a bit of a messy weeks, always been a 40cm/360 sens player but trying 34 as I want to have faster flicks, im sure I can get my tracking back to a good spot at that sens. Havn't done a benchmark since last friday so will be interesting to see my progression after a week of solid aim training. Definitely keep the updates rolling in, great to see where you where and where you are now.

If you don't have much shooter experience, your age will only mean it might take you a bit longer to improve - that's it. Usually the only reason people tend to ''fall off'' in their 30s in competitive gaming is that real-life takes up so much time that they cant really consistently practise anymore ;p Trust me you're going to see a few 40 y.o.+ insane aimers within the next 10 years or so. Age won't make much of a difference unless you're actually trying to compete at world-level pro tournaments. At least that's what most (limited) research really is available on topics that relate to gaming and aim/reaction time.

gratz on the rank, I myself am closing in on plat complete, but plan to be diamond complete by then end of the year. I have a question that maybe you are able to help me out with. How do you stay focused while training? Usually my mind wanders off while training, like ill end up just thinking about random things such as how my day went, or about some game im going to be playing later, while I understand it is really important to keep focused, I have a difficult time doing so. Do you think about specific stuff during your training?
@SilkyCrisp
@SilkyCrisp 2 жыл бұрын
I treat aim training like a meditation somewhat, I listen to music without words and will shift what I focus on depending on what is currently happening in the scenario. I'll basically observe how things are going and if I notice too much tension, ill focus on relaxing for a few seconds, if I notice my aim is shaky I'll focus on that for a few seconds. I switch what I focus on constantly and it keeps my mind occupied. But I'm not 100% sure that it matters that much as long as you put the time in, there are some great aimers that listen to podcasts and generally zone out. But if you're not making progress then it might help to focus more during training.

Hey man, I’m not as experienced as him but I just hit plat today after about 50 hours (And trust me I’ve been in your shoes I couldn’t even get ranked in some playlists months ago). I’d say the biggest tip is to keep consistent with your training. Just keep grinding the main playlists (bronze and silver voltaic) until about gold, when you’ll start to feel more confident. Then you can branch off into the other fundamental playlists (static, smoothness and precision, etc.). I grinded static, and have some diamond/near diamond scores and I’ve now swapped to tracking. Just keep playing and you’ll improve a ton!!

Hey good luck on your journey! If you wanna hit GM just prepare to spend 2+ hours a day consistently for 6+ months at a minimum. I was mentally prepared to spend over a year on this and was surprised I hit it so quickly. It's probably a better goal to hit diamond complete with 1-2 hours a day first and then decide if aim training is still worth the time investment for you after that point. Enjoy the process and let go of high scores, you'll crush them eventually if you just stick with it. GL!

thanks for the reply! going to stick with your advice for below diamond aim training from your master 1 video, is there anything you would add or change about that routine? and one last question, does it really matter what time you aim train? ive heard that you improve the most when aim training before you sleep. thanks for all the advice, i really appreciate it.

Ya know that's a good question that I had myself when starting. What about using the Voltaic routines that they have in the guide for each rank? Is just 1 hour a day doing the Bronze routine for example good enough?
@SilkyCrisp
@SilkyCrisp 2 жыл бұрын
You should see progress with 1 hour a day of the fundamental bronze routine yes. I go over my suggestions for routines in this video if you want more information starting at 7:42 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qc6bZMaHtJjemYU.html&

How much better do you think you will be when you hit gm complete?
@SilkyCrisp
@SilkyCrisp 2 жыл бұрын
I think GMC is top 25-50 in Voltaic rankings. Subjectively though, it felt like my aim took on another level each time i hit a GM score. At this point to get better at aiming in apex i gotta play it way more more instead of aim training. I got the mouse control, now i need to adapt my brain to the visuals, movement, leading my shots, and recoil.
