Why i prefer teachers who have worked with something practical first before they start teaching. Otherwise, they will be just teaching something that they too have just read, or at most did as a student themselves...
@isaiah1332
@isaiah1332 2 жыл бұрын
The most common illustration for this is the comparison with a water pipe, the flow of water being the voltage and the width of the pipe being the amperage. This is helpful especially when you only care about the practical use eg. Using appliances. But this oversimplifies the physics of electricity. For example, electrons dont actually flow from a power source through the wire like water does through a pipe. That being said, the water pipe illustration and this video serves the purpose of explaining the basics. However a physics teacher should be able to explain it beyond water pipes and lego pieces.

I know this error is due to the font used in the video does not have a lowercase letter but for the information of everyone there is a difference between using m and M as a prefix to a certain parameter. For Example, m - milli as in milliampere (mA), milli has a multiplier of 0.001 so a 5,000 mAh = 5 Ah, while M - Mega as in Megampere (MA), Mega has a multiplier of 1,000,000 so a 5,000 MAh = 5,000,000,000 Ah Hope that helps.

ADAPTERS (Voltage and Amps): ALWAYS MATCHED (parehas) yung VOLTAGE ng adapter sa device/appliances na ginagamit niyo. for the AMPS, you can use SAME or HIGHER amps adapter versus sa consumption ng device/appliances na gagamitin. The device will only use what it needs to. ** I always visualize electricity same as water. - Voltage as the Pressure; Amps as the Volume

Thank you po. Ngayon medyo mas naintindihan ko na what those electrical techicalities mean. Q: So kapag 110v, hindi po pwede isaksak sa 220v, and vice versa? Request content po Sir: How do our main fuse at home looks like and work, how to wire as well as what to think about when wiring around the house esp in toilet/CR area and kitchen compared to regular rooms, breakers. Also, are there any cable +/- connections we could possibly do on our own (if ever there is any or is it always better let the expert do this? ) at home like maybe changing the heads that we put in the sockets due maybe bec of tear sa wiring or we maybe need to change the head to be compatible with a socket equipped with breakers. (Do not know right terminology but hope you understand what i mean po.). Thanks in advance po.

Suggestion - can you discuss difference between lithium-ion battery vs lead acid. I heard lead acid discharges quickly but it’s cheaper. can you discuss which one is better? I bought that exact same generator but it discharges quickly.
@ArMarvz
@ArMarvz 2 жыл бұрын
lead acid *pros - cheaper, easy assembly, less maintenance, durable and can withstand hot temperatures (thanks to distilled water inside) *cons - heavy, 50% discharge (so buy a lot if you're planning a battery room) , unsafe indoors, bigger, 500 cycles before it is replaced (more expensive, more cycles) Lithium ion *pros - lighter, needs little space, safe indoors, 10% dicharge rate, cheaper by unit (more expensive in bunches), 2000 charging cycles... lasts longer than lead acid *cons - sensitive, more equipments needed to be stable (eg. balancers, voltage readers, must be cold always), not safe outdoors, easily breaks down if not monitored properly and more expensive (eg battery packs, tesla powerwall) in short, your choice of battery depends on the space of your battery wall / room, how much power you need , how much time you have to check on your batteries and your budget. hope this helps

I have been struggling and frustrated because of these electrical topic. so based on knowledge I gain from your video... when a device states 22 watt such as an apple charger, I can use my house's amperes and volt to see if It powerful enough to use the device right? if my house is 10 amperes and 110 volt then it is far more than enough to use the device right?? then when it come to my electricity bills, I need to take 22 watt multiply by time to see if that 22 watt charger cost me more or less. is is all correct ? Anyway I can confirm I understand more from your video. thank you so much

mga nakulangan lang kayo aa comprehension, maliwanag nmang binanggit nya na ang voltage ay ang pressure sa electricity @ 2:02 at malinaw din na ang tinutukoy nyang mas mabilis tumulak (speed) ay yung 220volts kesa 110 volts, not the volts itself .. 2:19 kayo ang mali, inihalintulad nyo pa yung amperes/ current sa speed, yun ang mali, current is the amount or number of electrons na ngfflow sa electricity, kaya nga ni Slater ginamit yung number ng lego as number ng current dahil ayun ang exact meaning nun

@@lanzkiecastillo6451 yes po sir sinabi ko naman na tama yung pressure analogy. and sinabi ko DIN po na "Speed is more related to Amps(current), but also not exactly "--sinabi ko "NOT EXACLTY" kase current is more of volume per unit time, unlike speed na displacement per unit time--kaya more related sila kasi same sila na RATE, just not exactly the same
