Volunteering with wildlife in Thailand is an experience that you won’t be able to get anywhere else. With more than 900 animals, there is plenty to do and they could really use your help. The main job is to help prepare food, clean enclosures and prep enrichments for the animals.
You will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to get close to animals that you wouldn’t normally do. They care for elephants, tigers, leopards, more than 100 monkeys and 100 gibbons, birds, reptiles, bears and many more.
I highly recommend this sanctuary - there is a strict no-hands policy, so the key is the animals’ wellbeing.
The sanctuary is located 2,5 hours south of Bangkok, but they do provide a pick-up service.

About me 👨
My name is Alex, and in December of 2023, I quit my job, sold my apartment and all my belongings to pursuit a lifelong dream of traveling full time.
The idea of traveling solo, as a middle-aged man, is both exciting and daunting, so I decided to bring my camera, and document my experiences. Not only to share my journey but also in the hopes of showing how amazing and wonderful traveling and the world truly is. 🌍
My goal is to visit the traditional sights as well as the lesser-known places - on a budget - and do some volunteer work with animals whenever possible.
