Thanks for the vid! Helped me get it off quick so I could snag the throttle position sensor off the back.

Really useful, thanks, particularly about unhooking that throttle linkage. To clear the check engine light you can also pull the number 1 fuse behind the ashtray for 30 seconds, or use the diag connector bolted to the driver's side suspension mount.

did you get better gas mileage or any other improvements afterwards?

I got peace of mind knowing I don’t have to mess with it for another 20 years! But yes slightly better gas mileage and engine ran more smooth and no more jerking when I pressed the gas from sitting at a light. Should have done it sooner

@@vincentbryan1962 having it done now i think it really helped. as you wrote, the car feels more powerful on low rpms and stutters less. thanks for the video!
