Oh yeah they are so worth it mate! Smiles per gallon… cheers I didn’t either. But glad I have a new one on the go so the who system will be new now 👍

Had the same problem with mine , replaced the original with a another t shaped valve worked straight away , opened up the original and it was clean no idea why it wouldn't work maybe the pump is on its way out , Thanks for the vid 👍👍

Try Retro Turbo Motorsport I think they're based in the UK and they do loads of Volvo upgrade bits including PU bushes

Love the fact it was a simple fix and you didn't throw out a part instead took a few mins to clean it and job done ✅

Was lucky it was the front one that was at fault as trying get access to the back would have been a pain. I'm like you nowadays, I want it to be right because trust in a car is a priceless thing to have.

Yeah definitely I wasn’t looking forward to dropping the headliner and getting that done 🤣 yeah definitely if you look after a car it will look after you 👍

@@SimpsonsClassics Too true, if my back washer blocks then there will be tears 😂. I've just spent £300 on mine, service, exhaust and a coolant pipe but I can get in and drive without thinking about it again for a long time so well worth the money.

Why would you have to drop the headliner to fix the rear sprayer? Does the line run through the roof?

Spot on again , loving the volvo content, restoring my 82 mini got me into your channel, just got a volvo 440 1.8is hta, any idea where to get 440 spares in Merseyside area, cheers Ste.

Repairs like that are so satisfying, although the initial faults can be a bit of a pain to diagnose. I had something similar happen to the rear washer on a Saab 9-5 Aero estate a few years ago. A replacement check valve from Wilco in Cambridge sorted it :)

Yeah it was a right pain but so glad it’s sorted now it’s one job off the list for sure.

Wasn't expecting that to be the case! I'm assuming the check valve is so you don't have to wait for the fluid to make it all the way to the washer nozzle

All my wipers work on my 745 and the front window pump sprays just fine but my rear stopped spraying. I installed a new rear nozzle a few months back, so It’s either clogged, blown fuse, cut wire, or bad pump? Thanks in advance!

Also… there’s a 945 parts car near me I wonder if they’re the same front and rear pumps??

Unsure on that I know a lot of the parts can be moved over but worth checking first maybe remove yours then go check with the parts car but these really aren’t expensive new.
