The largest excavator Volvo have ever made is 95t. - and if you are actually stating Volvo's smaller excavators against 150t class excavators, that's invalid anyway You haven't a clue.

Greetings again from Ohio, USA .... I've never seen a Volvo machine up close .... This gives us a great view of this beautiful machine at work. Great operator skills, and great close-up view. Six passes to load a truck means that the loader and trucks are mis-matched. Three to four passes are ideal. Operator skills are good but not great. He has nearly ideal conditions but is not consistently getting full buckets. Nice machine but I'll take a Cat any day.

I dunno. That face seems a bit too fragile to work near the edge from the top. The operator pulls it down in huge chunks with little resistance.

It looks to me each Cat hauler replaces 2 of the other trucks they use. If they used Cat 777's they could replace 3 or 4. So if they had 40 trucks they would only need 13 777's

Our road system basically limits the size of these machines. You could make them 10 times as big otherwise and do these projects way faster. Oh well. Komatsu's biggest dozer isnt even used much anymore because of the operating costs.

Yeah. Even if it is delivered in two or three pieces (not hard to do) it could be problematic. It is 70 tons, so even in pieces, you couldn't really transport it by air either. There might be some helicopters that can do 25 tones I guess, and that would be an option, as you usually do not move these machines often once they are at destination site.
